I did spot the CVAs and the titanium rear turnbuckles

I have a couple projects that I paid too much for, need LOTS of work... But for some reason, I am totally ok with that.
They needed to be saved.

I'm sure this will be another beauty when you're finished with it!

Could be any number of things, but what’s interesting is it’s mostly just surface rust, very little pitting. It wire brushes right off.

So whatever happened, it was quick and probably recent.

Could be someone doing home anodising and getting an acid mist over everything nearby. Could be somewhere close to the ocean, or somewhere near to old manganese mines (ask me how I know).

I use Mother's aluminum and mag wheel polish on rusted parts. 3mm shafts fit nicely in the dremel chuck. I turn them on low speed rotate and put a bit of the Mothers on my fingers.
I literally hand polish most of my parts. I don't even need sandpaper or a brush most of the time and the parts look brand new.

Got a Gensacearespammers 'round' 2s 4000mah, 60c hard lipo battery pack. I have been test fitting it in different vintage Kyosho kits and so far its fitting well.
I will charge it up to make sure its good.
I'll have to put a car together to give the pack a proper test tho.

Got a new camp light. Devos Light ranger. Got really good reviews and recommended by a friend. Its tall enough (9ft) not to blind you, super bright with multiple dimmer settings, and breaks down small enough to attach to a backpack. Its surprisingly sturdy too, even at full extension. We'll see how well it holds up.
