LOl,Congrats!
Was the first dance song by REO Speedwagon or Air Supply?
Yessir, I am pretty dang proud! We have overcome a lot over the years. I've never left the house without telling her bye and giving her a kiss, and tell her every morning that I love her......she don't like that when she's mad at me, but I do it anywaysI love that fact that you're proud enough to tell us here. Congrats dude, that's so awesome.
Back to the cake, though...is that a chocolate fountain on top of the second layer!?
We did exactly the opposite - got married at the courthouse and had a helluva' reception with a live band and open bar!We paid for our wedding ourselves, and spent all our money on a photographer and the cake, couldn't afford food or dancing at the reception.
My parents made it to their 39th anniversary last May before my mom passed away later that month. I think she was holding on until that day. They were so close to 40 years. The biggest thing they taught me in life was to always say I love you because you never know when it will be your last chance to do so. I've promoted the same message amongst my own family. Nothing pisses off my 10-year-old daughter more than ending a convo with "Thank you Hun. I love you" after she thinks I hate her because I was upset with her about something she did to her little brother lol.Yessir, I am pretty dang proud! We have overcome a lot over the years. Indeed, more love and respect. Less shelfishness and pride. Aint nothing wrong at all with telling someone you love them....especially the guy at the gun counterMy parents made it to their 39th anniversary last May before my mom passed away later that month. To this day, I tell my dad and brother I love them before hanging up the phone or saying goodbye in person. Even my few best friends in life, we exchange I love yous and hugs.
I'm not a hippy and I'm not lost on my masculinity... I like cars, guns, and a good chunk of smoked meat. The world just needs more love.
Same here, my Mother in Law was convinced we wouldn't last a year. My family thought I would never get married so they were relieved.Indeed, more love and respect. Less shelfishness and pride. Aint nothing wrong at all with telling someone you love them....especially the guy at the gun counter
No one thought my wife and I would last, divorce and dissfunction riddled both of our families. We have really learned how to set our pride aside over the years with each other, and treat each other with respect, and show our love in simple ways. We have certainly had more than our share of set backs and trials, but a foundation on Gods love has had a trickle down effect towards each other.
There's the answer!!!!Same here, my Mother in Law was convinced we wouldn't last a year.
Lol, she certainly deserves an award!Happy anniversary!!!
38 years is a long time!!! Did you buy her a trophy or an award?
The pic is killing me!!! Did you drive to the wedding in your Iroc?
Fun times!!!
