While that (maybe) cures, say hello to my (not so) little friend. I was using some nasty knock-off red thread locker, and I think that probably contributed to the screw stripping incident. Thanks to @Littlemotor for recommending another fluid.

Let's do the servo mount.

I feel like I've shown this exact photo like eight times already, but the servo mount is now Done(TM).

At some point the tooling has to wear out right? And the poor mold operator can finally retire?

Wooooooooooah now turbo… Blasphemy! 🤣

There’s still plenty of time to spit out eleventybillion Jammin’ Jay Edition Star Wars AT-AT’s, and some Masami Hirosaka Edition George Jetson flying cars that make those weird bubble noises… That operator’s grandkid will be button pushing the same machine in 2086-it’s for sure in the contract at Thunder Tiger.. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

My M3 countersunk washers arrived. I bought from 2 different stores because it's hard to tell sometimes what you're actually going to get. I ended up with two different profiles.

I think I like the cone best. They're also probably closest to the #4 countersunk washers I've used elsewhere in this build.

At least I’m not the only one around here that feels obligated to buy those dudes in bulk.. 😅

Cleaned up the servo lead.

This was more of a battle than I was expecting: the braid kept pulling out of the heat shrink when I went to wind the lead around a rod for that sweet spiral. Ended up fixing one end, winding, then fixing the other end. I really wish AE had molded a channel through these bulkheads.

The bracket is now servo-taped into place, and it looks like it's holding even with the tension on the servo lead.

Remember this prophetic statement?

Yeah. I slightly melted one corner of the servo mount with the heat gun getting the braid to stick.

I knew we were gonna see that shot one last time after the postman arrives anyhow 😜..

The wire management could not possibly look any more professional broseidon.. 😎

If you’d have asked me at the start of this nonsense which part of the build would cause me the most pain, I would not have said the servo mount 😂

Thanks. I need to get some distance from this part to really appreciate it, I think.

Around what point did I find, and begin commenting on this build….🤔🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

This thing came from the factory with pre-installed ghosts I reckon.

Nah-just a shiit-ton of opportunities to gooderize it repeatedly. 😎 -and you just so happened to bring the right amount of psycho to the party.. 😂
