Just read it. Does anybody else know that the 80s and 90s chevy's are prone to electrical issues? I remember reading it somewhere and i remembered it after I heard you have electrical issues. 1. if your doorlights are always on, have you tried turning them off manually? if you have, some cars actually have a fuse for the dome lights and stuff like that, so just pull that. You might not have any interior lights, but its better than waking up to a dead battery. 2. if your check engine light is not working, that's most likely a tell tale sign that that bulb has been HEAVILY used (if you catch my drift). Or I could be wrong and you could just have another wiring issue. You said it doesn't drive good? one of the reasons why would probably not run well is because of the airbox. Did they take just the box or the box and the intake tube that leads to the throttle body? usually fuel injected cars have a mass airflow sensor, but that didn't come on a 95 blazer, that came out the next year. instead this one has a intake air temperature sensor (IAT). If the IAT sensor fails, it can cause drivability issues such as a rough idle, poor fuel economy, or hesitant acceleration. also I have the same electrical problems on my truck too! 2001 Toyota tundra Access Cab, 2wd, 4.7l V8. My interior dome lights don't work. If I mess with the cargolight button, the cargo light stays on, draining the battery. unlike your check engine light, mines always on! its been on for at least 12 years! its just an O2 sensor tho. I'm not paying $125 for that! also my rear window leaks. I had replaced it with a stationary window. we put 2 full tubes of that window caulk or whatever its called. And it still leaks! It might have structural damage. My point is, don't stress! these are all just tiny fixes. yeah it might be a lot, but who needs dome lights? As long as you can here the little ticking of the blinker you should be fine. if a turning signal is out, it will tick fast. Hope this helps!
