Any good cameras out there for R/C cars?

Just a question: do any of you have a recommendation for a good, low budget camera I can mount on my mini XRT and other rigs?

I've had good luck with gopros but they might be heavy in a smaller car. I've used hero 3,4, and 7s on my tmaxx, 1/8 stampede, mini slash and mini summit.

A used one usually fits a budget. Whats the price range?

I mounted it inside a few rigs looking out the windshield on crawls. It was fun footage.

I believe you can even disassemble them and remote mount the lens. I never got that creative with it.

Unfortunately I do not. I thought I did but a search of all my old videos yields nothing. It's all pretty standard 1080p stuff though. I have a wide angle lense on mine, I think the 110+ degree lens.

You can see the shadow of it in the this picture, mounted to the inside of the roof.

And I wish I still had this night drive on film.

Hearing the truck from the inside was cool too

Unfortunately I do not. I thought I did but a search of all my old videos yields nothing. It's all pretty standard 1080p stuff though. I have a wide angle lense on mine, I think the 110+ degree lens.

They are usually 50-120 last I looked a few years ago. With all the new ones and voice control I feel why its priced low. If I had the funds it would be gone.

I started getting gopro because of the polycarbonate case ro protect it and water proof it. The new ones are garbage like all other electronics. I was looking at insta 360 recently but heard the screens broke easily.
