I don't believe that we have a thread like this, so I thought I would start one! This thread serves as a way for everyone to post a classic car they have, want, or see on the road that they think people would like to see! I'll go first. I have a 1969 Toyota FJ40 that is getting a complete overhaul. It's got 35 inch tires, a chevy 350, an aftermarket 4speed trans, (forgot the name my dad told me yesterday), 4 inch lift, custom fabricated relocated gas tank (Stock they are in the cab under the passenger seat), a custom exhaust, and a bunch of other goodies. I have photos on my phone, but I do not have any on my computer. When I get home, I'll post the pics I do have! Anyways, what cars do ya want/have/have seen?

Luke, awesome idea! I use to have a few muscle cars back in the day. 70 Monte Carlo & a 70 Chevelle. I think it'd be cool to have a plain 75 Camaro to mess with.

i have a 71 Volkswagen Super Beetle. i need to flush out what I'm assuming is bad gas (it's been in the tank almost 2 years), put a new alternator on it and tune the carb and it'll be driveable again.
there's also a 59 Studebaker Silverhawk in the garage. last registered in 75, last time the tires saw public streets was 83. its been out of the garage maybe 4 times in the last 40 years. not sure who's name is on the title, it's ether my grandparents or my dads. been in my family sense it was new. my great grandparents were the original owners. one of these days ill dig it out and make it run. id like to do a full body off restoration, but idk if ill ever get that far on it. I'm easily distracted and currently semi looking but not real hard for another car, probably another bug but also have a crap tone of pre 1971 cars on the radar.

don't have any pics of the Studebaker but here's my bug in it's prime (2009ish i think)

Had a 84 k5 blazer. Originally had a diesel in it but the guy I bought it off of dropped a 454ci in it. Pristine ride. Set similar to the one in the pic and was white. Sold it, guy took it to a friend of his to put a new exhaust on it. Was trying to weld, caught it on fire, blew up the shop and half the pawn shop next door.

77 nova
73 El Camino
78 Chevy step side
78 Camaro
94 S10 (was a bolt on dream)
94 firebird (was the family's project drag car. I was the fabricator/welder. Brother in law was the wrencher, father was the sponsor.). Lol..I said I didn't like to wrench... didn't say I couldn't do anything 😉 Been a while and I'm remembering things...78mm turbo and a 150 nitrous shot directly to the intercooler. Was a beast. Was a sub 10 sec car but we kept it dialed in a little above 10 cause of the licensing needed and safety equipment.

I had an 85 K5 that I lifted.
The hood of the Blazer was the same height as the roof of a stock S10 4x4. Easy to find in mall parking lots. 👍🤣

I had a 85 K5 GMC Jimmy for a few years when my daughter was little. 305 / 700r4. I did a long block rebuild of the motor with it still in the truck. Cam, oil pump, timing chain, lifters, pushrods, etc, etc. All factory stock. Drove it for a few years & sold it to buy her a car at 16. Wish I still had it.

20/20 hindsight I know. Feel your pain.

It was completely 85 stock. Never been hacked. Still had the K5 rally wheels & factory shocks. Shell was good. Rear quarters weren't rusted, like so many were, & drove pretty well. It had AC, cruise control, power windows, which I had to fix all 3 windows to work. We use to pull the top off & go ride around & man the kids loved it. Took the dog & would cruise around.

My Dad had an 84 blacked out diesel GMC Jimmy. It was brand new and soooo nice!!! 😎
I would buy one of these trucks instead of the new toilets that are being sold today. 🤣
Funny how well these trucks ran and they never collected a single bit of my data. 🙄

Right now I drive a 2013 Hyundai Sonata...I'm practical lol. I have my parents 2013 Denali ( 6.2 yo 😎 ) Father kept this SUV like new. has 2 broken engine mounts that I need to get fixed. Only has 100k miles on it. Insurance on it is CHEAPER than my Hyundai thanks to the KIA boyz

I wish I had a classic car. My dilemma is I can't figure out what I'd choose to have anymore, as I love a lot of them. Haha.
We're a Subaru family, got ourselves a Wilderness Outback and I still have my Crosstrek. I do still miss my little 2004 Mini Cooper, that was a fun ride :)
