More home improvement headaches. I pulled a command strip the proper way so I can put a display shelf on this area of the wall but it still took a chunk of the drywall paper so I cleaned the loose stuff off, sealed the brown paper with mod podge and just applied the first coat of compound. 😑

I used an 'easy release' command strip hook on my front door to hang a wreath.

Easy release includes scraping glass with a razor blade I guess.

I bet I'll break the glass trying to get the hook off.

Ho ho holy crap that is annoying!!!
 
I let the 2nd coat of compound dry until it turned white and stated lightly sanding with 180 grit sponge. There was a stubborn spot so after giving it a good wipe down I applied another thin coat of compound. I hope that’s fine. I am never using command strips again.

Yesterday, we had to put up with heavy traffic, hoards of people, and rain to get to our oldest's college graduation ceremony. Well, it was worth it! We're very proud of her!
Today, we do it again. Except, today, its just a bunch of the university bigwigs speeling why their school is so special. Basically, trying to sell their business. I suggested we skip it because it has nothing to do with the grads. However, Mrs. X insist we go "in support of" 😑
Oh yeah, I'm typing this post out right now while at this boredom fest. Kill me now

She's already got employment with Childrens' Hospital of Philadelphia starting in August.

This just drives me crazy!!! I try to buy RC cars & parts from FB Marketplace and the sellers never respond! I don't negotiate the price I just want what I want. I guess they think I'm a scammer or something, just frustrating!

The only problem is if you keep driving with it, you won't be able to easily unscrew it out. It's going to be a lot more of a pita when it wears down smooth.
 
the chemical spill incident by my work has gotten better maybe (?) the tank has a crack and that's bleeding off pressure. so maybe no explosion (?) but that also means probably a larger chemical spill in the area. so yeah... idk what's going on with work next week and that's a problem because I'm going on vacation the first 2 weeks of June. soooo....

I really like the looks of the dumbass short course truck though. :P. I think it's wider than it should be, or it's shorter than it should be. I'm not sure which.

I think the blue stadium truck is kind of dumb, it's too much like a low slung monster truck, and I'm not really into RC monster trucks. The little white third gen Ford Van is for sure out of scale in all respects. I'm really fond of the Quattro and the Citroen.
