I know I vented this last year but I forgot it’s that time of year where my neighbor puts the apartment building in danger and my stress levels go through the roof and grills directly under a patio roof directly against the building. I will be reporting them to the new landlords and the fire department. I took a sneaky photo when they weren’t around to try to show what I mean.

I had a neighbor in Spokane who did that and yes, he caught the building on fire. Thankfully it was the building across the parking lot from the one I lived in at the time.
Thankfully indeed!!!

They should require a license to grill. Lol!

When I hear about things like this, I feel badly. But there's a part of me that is also thinking... burn the porch down with a grill, stick a fork in the toaster, bring the corded radio into the tub so they didn't miss the game.... Its a matter of time for some ppl. 🤣

We had an ammonia hazmat spill in Portland Oregon on Friday as well. I don't remember the company, but they had to close down all of Halsey street, (A very busy street to say the least).

So sorry to hear about your dad @Doom!, that is scary.
Wishing him a speedy recovery.

They are keeping him again tonight. The pacemaker manufacturer gave the ok for the MRI but the radiology staff is hesitant, not sure what they are going to decide.

My dad had a stroke yesterday, they kept him overnight, haven't heard anything yet this morning, but my sister says they will probably release him.
I hope he does okay. My dad had a stroke at work one day back in 1984. After two days of testing the doctor said he was fine and sent him home. My dad had no stroke related issues at all, thankfully.

It's almost June...and 45 deg. And raining.

My co-worker is back and fine. Claiming a severe case of food poisoning. Never had food poisoning myself....I assume it's a myth created by folks with a weak constitution to excuse falling victim to some kind of real illness. Either way, at least he is back and doing well.

@Doom! Hope yer dad is on the mend and doing ok.

I have. Nothing like days of throwing up and diarrhea. I was amazed how much came out on day 3 of nothing to eat. 😆

Glad they are ok. But 8am here its already 90° and 1000% humidity.

Are you sure it was the food...calling it food poisoning makes it sound like it's not contageous...misery loves company and all that.

Considering I had cooked food from a shady 711 I never went back to and was never sick like thst again I'm certain it was. 4 days of throwing up and crapping. No fever or snot or cold symptoms. Just no appetite and the thought of eating making me feel sick.

I understand this perspective...science demands you must be able to repeat the results...you will have to go back

Beam us up, Scotty. 🤣

I actually got so sick from KFC as a kid, still to this day I won't go near it.

First time was REAL bad!
The second was a test and boy did we fail!

All done!

When I got up, it said rain ending at noon...then it changed to 1pm. So I started charging batteries at 12:30...now it says 3:15.... looks like I might get a little wet...

Rain stopped here. Hopefully it will end soon down there too.

Happy mudding!!! :thumbs-up::cool:
