If you give me a vintage car to build up ill be more than happy to run 7 minutes.
7 minutes in a retro vintage, acceptable. 7 minutes in a modern mini which was a esc fault, not acceptable. (blame reedy for copying hobbywing bc they did a poor job doing so. lol)

LOL. i don't remember what my 2015 Tacoma is (4 door long bed, TRD Sport), iv repressed that nightmare, but it's over $200. hell my 71 bug, if memory serves is over $100.
and to add to that, every 2 years i have to SMOG test the truck. that was another $60 last year.
and "they" wonder why people are fleeing Commiefornia at an alarming rate.

We should have flying cars by then I would hope but probably not.

I can promise you, the day they start handing out flying car licenses... OMG!!!

Most people can barley handle cars working in two dimensions, adding the option of a third dimension isn't going to be a viable option until we can reliable automate people out of the system.

This is going to sound petty because it’s the 4th of July or whatever. But, there’s two major highways closed in my state due to forest fires that have jumped the road. There’s over 100 forest fires burning right now and almost 400,000 acres have burned as of today. People I know have been evacuated from their homes and are wondering if they’ll come back to a house at the end of the summer. The smoke in town is so thick that it looks like fog.

WHY are people launching fireworks right now? I’ve been hearing them pop off every now and then throughout the night. I fear for how much there’s going to be tonight when the actual celebrations start. Hopefully that doesn’t mean MORE forest fires.

For reference this is just one of the many and it’s only 50 miles from town.

I'm kind of worried about tonight too, it was pretty windy last night and so far today. Last year some of our bonehead neighbors we landing fireworks pretty close to peoples rooftops.

4th of July 2023 the lovely neighbors who no longer live here were launching mortars in a very tightly packed residential neighborhood. Which, keep in mind was a Tuesday night. You’d be surprised at the amount of people who still have to work holidays who came to work wanting to punch the first thing that talked to them.

I don’t even get fireworks here in the summer… the sun doesn’t set for like 3 months. We are in 24 hours of daylight right now. You can’t even see the darn things

If 13 year old me could see myself now. He’d call me a Karen
