This is on the design of the traxxas jato. Now I see why people want that aluminum tranny case. Thos is a pita to get apart. I don't think a cracked head would make it this hard. I rebuilt alot of trannies but this one...... great job traxxass.

The aluminum is so it doesn't break as easy when you throw it across the room!

new move by dumb incompetent idiot drivers. dragging the brake as you pass a cyclist in the bike lane. the cyclist is 6 feet over in there own lane. there's no freaking need to slow down 7mph when you pass them.

just checked the weather forecast. it rained yesterday. its supposed to rain again next Wednesday. Wednesday is the day i RC after work and iv got the hankering to run TC's. can't do that when the parking lots i go to have turned into a wadding pools.
and when it rains that late into the week i can't RC on the weekends cause nothing dry's out in time.
i fear i need to put together a couple "winter beaters"... water resistant electrics in thrown together cars i give zero craps about.

As a former road cyclist, I also don't care for a vehicle to spend that much more time next to me. Just pass already so I could stop hugging the shoulder.

Yup! Thats the plan for the Granite now. Run it til another wheel blows off!
Maybe buy a big old leaf blower to dry out some good run spots???

idk, i live in CA so it's a 2 prong issue. 1. it would have to be electric cause supposedly gas leaf blowers are now illegal. idk if an electric would have the run time or power for that. probably take forever. and 2. i usually run (on road) in church parking lots. a white guy with a leaf blower in a church parking lot seems suspicious.

be way easier and more fun to just pull a cheap TC off ebay. put cheap "water proof" electrics in it and not give a crap. been thinking of doing that with an off road truck for years.

I hate these maze of tape they make you walk through like your a friggin sheep in the yards at the slaughter house.
I'm at the airport, I'm early, it's quiet here, yet they make me walk around the maze of tape. I'm the only one in the fukkin line and its all going to the same place. Around and round I go. Its so degrading. Far enough if it busy, but wtf.
