We got a new landlord a couple months ago, and I've been trying to be patient but he's a complete idiot. He'll get mad when everyone doesn't move their cars yet doesn't give us any sort of warning ahead of time. Sometimes he'll plow at like 3am and wakes the entire building up. That is all for my rant for the day. :)
Getting a vibe he's cheap like the landlord in the Friday movie. 🤣

We had a landlord who thought it was fun to bury my car in snow with his plow. I started blocking the drivrway with my car and NOTHING got plowed til my car got moved. Circus clown!

I just wanted to swap to 55/19 gears on the Baja. Had I known I was going to cause myself this much issue with something that is so simple, I would've not done it. The pinion gear didn't fit the stock clutch bell, I had to grind a lot of metal off just to get it to fit. Said screw it, I'm getting a different pinion gear and may as well upgrade the clutch bell as well to make future pinion changes easier. Figured that's what I get for being cheap and bought a Vertigo clutch bell off DDM and when I was checking out, I seriously thought about getting a new clutch carrier... Decided to save my money and be cheap (Foreshadowing).

New clutch bell and pinion comes in today, swap goes smooth. I tighten down the nut that holds the pinion to the clutch bell and I over tighten it, which in turn crushes the 2 bearings in the clutch housing and the whole thing binds up now. Totally my fault... two ABEC 9 bearings that are now as smooth as this project has been
I could just order new bearings... But, if anything I've learned up to this point, being cheap just sets me back. So, I ordered a whole new billet clutch carrier WITH oversized bearings from DDM. Should've just ordered this when I got the clutch bell initially. This time I didn't see anything I wanted before I checked out, so hopefully I won't break anything else putting it on.

Every now and then I struggle with something absolutely stupid. Usually it doesn't end up costing me almost $200 though 🤣

Not really a rant, rather a wtf.

The neighbour of my mother-in-law complained that the lawn mowing service was blowing lawn chippings onto his side and he didn't want weeds growing due to this.

So I completely understand this as I'm always pulling up weeds and spraying weed killer on my lawn because of the seeds blown over from my neighbours weed infested yards. I get that frustration.

Thing is, he doesn't have any lawn or garden. He's completely sealed his front yard with concrete. Wtf. Why bother your neighbour with a complaint. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷‍♂️

This one is a rant.

I ordered a Denso branded aircon condenser from ebay for my Hilux. I waited 2 weeks for it to arrive but they sent me an off-brand one. I could have brought the off-brand one locally but I wanted the Denso. Not what I received. 😡🤦🏻‍♂️

I bought a Samsung oem charger from the forest and pulled that chit on me.

I wanna see this guy in a hurricane. Does he ask mother nature to not blow that way? 🤣

I've had some people come up to me for my coworkers and vice versa. Some yards were greatly manicured. Others were all weeds and they acted like it was the top grass.

Rockauto lost me as a customer due to this.
They actually went as far as stamping a mickey mouse 'yellow rubber stamp' that said 'Moog' to try and deceive and then insisted that I pay return shipping insisting it was a legitimate Moog part.
They sent me 1 that was and 1 that wasn't legit... pretty easy to document. 🙄
Twice they sent me the inferior brand at the premium price. There will not be a third.
I was spending over a thosand dollars a month there when that happened.
Bye! 🤣

I would have sent moog an email saying how they are ripping them off doing that too.

I contacted them about it and they want me to return it. I said no, I want a partial refund. The part will fit but it's not the brand I ordered. I'm not waiting for it to return and then another 2 weeks for them to send another. Who know if the second one will be right.

Moog has been bought and sold a few times now. It had crossed my mind that Rockauto bought the name and they are just going to drive it into the ground now... cheap parts in expensive boxes until everyone catches on. The name becomes as generic as Acme.
I can still buy Moog parts that are legit from other places so hopefully they remain a quality brand.

For a week & a half, the gauge cluster in my car has been chimen' rear tire psi low. I pump it up, it goes down. Gets to 17-19 psi & stops. Drop by the tire store after work, nail in the L rear. I remember running over something in the road, like a bunch of debris. That chime is annoying 🤨 $10 bucks to plug it.

at least its plugable. and $10 is cheaper than a new tire.
last time my brother went to the tire store cause of a leak he left with 2 new tires. had a nail in one and it was to close to the sidewall so they wouldn't patch it. and he had 3 different types of tires on the car all in various states of wear.

True. And it'll hold air. I use to keep a plug kit. This car is low on the ground & no way I'm messing with it.
