I have over a year old dirt and gunk stuck on my car near my diff cases and chassis braces I never touch. I think I need to do a full rebuild on that cause I know carpet tracks won't allow me in with a dirty car lol
yeah that’s why I gotta clean the slash lol

clean parts so they are covered in old dirt and clay 😅
Yep- Little cheap paint brushes from the dollar store. I use them on bunch RC stuff. Cleaning diffs. CVDs. Outdrives. Diff mounts. Steering linkages. Cut the bristles off old ones & use as scrapers. And occasionally, painting 😄

Completely deleted my Facebook account today… I’ve been on the fence for a while now but today sealed the deal.

Had car listed for $450 on marketplace. Jackass asks “will you do $200?” I say no.

Dude left a 1 star review because I didn’t accept his lowball offer and ruined my perfect seller rating.

No way to appeal. No customer service. Place is a dumpster fire.

I was sticking around for the groups and marketplace but honestly I’ve gotten tired of the uneducated input that groups provide and the incessant lowballing that marketplace consists of.

Meh it is what it is. Ever since I found the RCTalk forum I've been pretty inactive in groups anyway. It's nice talking to people with a genuine passion for RC that either are extremely knowledgeable or at least willing to learn. 90% of the people I've come across in Facebook groups are elitists or arrogant and giving out bad info 😂

Selling might be harder... Actually it might be easier... without all the spam "is this available?" No show buyers, and lowballers. eBay can be a pain in the ass but it's easy as long as you don't ship USPS

Really it's a win win

And on eBay you can appeal negative reviews so that's a plus

Moms car:

2 new rear tires (old rear tires are on the front)
Wheel balance
Wheel alignment
New wheel bearings
New tie rods
New upper and lower control arms

All for 1800 bucks.

Its like new now. Should drive straight and no rattles now ;)
Mom doesn't scout the road and avoid dips, bumps, and potholes I'm assuming?
I'm still on FB but they denied me access to marketplace since I'm underaged 😭 🤣
Sounds like a favor. Sorry for the luck @Beer_Goggles_RC I left that site 10 or so years ago. Kinda glad. I'm a ghost if your looking for me. 🤣😝

I've never had Facebook. Almost did it a few times. I hate when companies dole out info exclusively through Facebook. but just didn't seem worth it to join.

It's not.

Luckily it seems like the Facebook userbase is dying rapidly. The only thing holding up their user numbers for the shareholders are the rampant number of bots and scam accounts lol

She does
Upper and lower control arms were original which those are 15 years old

Came back from the shop today. No rattles. But heard a metal clunk in the rear. He didn't torque down all the way the upper shock mounts. We'll stop by tomorrow and he can tighten it back up.
Not complaining, just that he has alot of cars to work on currently, and has been for the past month.

Well, it is Baltimore/The county and they don't care about road conditions to technically not her fault.

from now on i’m going to avoid using ups as much as possible, was supposed to have package from amazon today, ups had issues and delayed it 1 business day so I gotta wait till monday, package will sit in north jersey till sunday night now because they won’t delivery early

MEANWHILE fedex picked up a package today and will deliver tomorrow, usps will deliver a package tomorrow as well both were originally scheduled for monday….
