I haven't had much experience with Spektrum servos. Are they as bad as most RTR servos?

It's now got a used Arrma ADS-15m as thats what I had spare. See how long that lasts.

They're not great servos, but I also wouldn't have batted an eye at running it .2V over. Typically, that would not hurt anything and there's a decent chance that's not what killed it in this case either, but you never know.

I'm on my second one and have already caught myself trying to crunch it a number of times. More like crying for help here

across the street from me is a single women, I'm thinking in her mid/late 40's. hell she might be 50idk, never met her. next door to her is what we call "the frat house", it's got 5 college age guys living in it. parking sucks. the frat house usually has 2 and sometimes 3 cars parked in front of the single women's house. today there were 3 lined up in front of her house and nothing in front of there own house so she had no room to put out her trash barrels. she seems to also be cleaning out the garage or something cause there's bags and bags and bags of who knows what out there. well sense she couldn't put it all in front of her house she put it all, and i mean ALL in front of the frat house. there is no parking in front of the frat house.
now in theory you're thinking this is amusing. BUT all those bags taking up all that space won't be picked up by the trash truck tomorrow. the trash truck only dumps the trash can via the arm on the truck and won't touch the bags, so all that stuff is going to stay until who knows. this is going to screw parking all to hell and the damn frat boys will inevitably take my parking spot.
it's going to be interesting and frustrating to see how this pans out and how long it takes to pan out.
if all that stuff isn't gone by Friday it may escalate cause of street sweeping. were i live you can't park on that side of the street from 8am to noon on Friday. sense all that stuff is blocking the street I'm sure the city will want to site it for blocking the street sweeper. if they do they'll be siting the wrong house for the mess. so yeah, i have that look forward to

Hot Race tires are absolute trash. Worse than GRP… That’s saying somethin’ imo…

Been oval racing regularly now for about 6-8 months. Learned so so much from forums posts, YouTube, and mostly from guys at the track. Started out doing breakout and then built a late model buggy based late model 13.5. had fun with that and worked on my mudboss here and there but never got the mudboss feeling good. I had some leftover parts and decided to convert my mudboss to a super street class. Started running in the back of the pack. Finally got my straight line speed up but was still losing in the corners. After spending some time chatting with other racers and examining their cars I realized I had way too high a ride height and therefore a very high CG compared to most. We raced Thursday night and Friday I rebuilt all my shocks with different springs, shock limiters, pistons, and oil. Didn't have time to even check camber changes and went out Saturday and sent it.

I had the best laps of my life with a slash-based car. Top guys run a high 4.4-4.5 consistently and I was hitting 4.3s. unfortunately there was only one other street stock to run with and he was quite fast too. I was glued to his bumper every lap of every race but couldn't get any opportunity to pass. Had a great time, took my car home and decided to write down all my settings and man, were they... Not what I was expecting.
