Here's my philosophy:
You do a job, and in return, you get paid. You don't have to enjoy or love it, you're there for the money and not for entertainment. If you truly hate the job, then, yes, find something else.
I grew up with little money, so I was ecstatic to reach a legal working age and get a regular income. I'm 53, and I still enjoy my profession. I often have to listen to many of my coworkers, young and old, whine about how they hate having to work. Every day I'm grateful I have good employment and that I'm physically able to work.
