It annoys me when sellers list a used rc on ebay and in the details they just copy and paste the spec from the box or og ad. No details about the actual condition of the rc.

If I sell anything electronic wise I clean it up and factory reset the system. (Like when I sold old radios)
If I ever sell one of my cars/builds I would list what I did with it, what upgrades I did to it, and personally I'd do a full rebuild before listing it. But that's just me. I do see listings where the car is a bit dirty and dusty and after buying it needs a full rebuild with probably new bearings and everything.

Didn't know where to post this but want your opinions,

Are Integras good project cars? (Honda/Acura) Especially 3rd gens

Also been looking at crx's and del sols.

Like I have money and a license yet 😅

Get a reliable daily driver, then you can worry about a project car.

Well technically I will.
Well, semi reliable.
Once mom gets a new (well used) SUV, her Malibu will be mine. 09 Malibu 2LT 3.6l V6. On its 3rd engine, but this new 3rd engine has fixed the design flaws GM had. 2nd transmission. New exhaust. Interior like new. Just needs new suspension.
Drilled/slotted brakes/rotors.

Currently its in the shop getting one of the front brake calipers fixed again. Getting a cat.converter fixed. And I believe a new front CV axle as before vacation we were going on night drives and the wheel will jitter alot on throttle.

Its always getting those po420 codes. Cat converters suck. Lol

Clear coat on the other side and the roof / rear bumper is peeling off and some dents here and there. But parts are like new and interior is like new.

Didn't I just say reliable? you won't have any money for a project car if you have to keep fixing the daily driver.

Make sure it's either something you enjoy doing, or pays enough to make you sorta happy. Good luck finding something that provides both.

Here's my philosophy:
You do a job, and in return, you get paid. You don't have to enjoy or love it, you're there for the money and not for entertainment. If you truly hate the job, then, yes, find something else.
I grew up with little money, so I was ecstatic to reach a legal working age and get a regular income. I'm 53, and I still enjoy my profession. I often have to listen to many of my coworkers, young and old, whine about how they hate having to work. Every day I'm grateful I have good employment and that I'm physically able to work. And, I've always been this way. From being a newspaper boy, a dept store stock boy, a pet shop clerk, a fast food worker, a sporting goods salesperson, I was blessed to enjoy working everyplace I've worked. Or maybe, it was just more of my positive, grateful attitude, and possibly because I've never had a sense of entitlement.

Pretty much the same for me.
