I think I figured out the issue, I've been typing in my credit card number as xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx and it's supposed to be xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx without the spaces uh oops...

Tried it again and it went through!
Lesson learned: no spaces lol

and For real if you have 2 good friends in this world, that's good. Things change, people change. If you can count on 2 people, good deal. I have two good friends. Great guys.

And post 332 These guys are real family men. One guy has 5 kids, 4 grandchildren & is younger than me. The other can't have children & has fostered kids over the years. At 55 trying to adopt now. Spends lots of his free time in volunteering ministry work. Great friends.

My year lease for my apartment is up next month, and of course, they are raising my rent. But they raised it $100. In the 2.5 years since this property management company has taken over they have raised my rent $360. Being on disability, I am already struggling to survive at times. So now I will be forced to make a lot of cutbacks. Greedy people SUCK!

I have looked. There's nothing really good in my area. I may end up having to move south of town to find anything cheaper.

When I left RCNT/TALK.com way back, it was BECAUSE my landlord raised our rent. There were a number of key factors that led to me more or less loosing my poop and telling her to kiss my ass.
We tried to buy a home and it was like the day I said "move" the housing market EXPLODED!
We couldn't find a damned house to buy, rent doubled in our area... omg!!!
We ended up finding a place that we ALMOST bought.
When THAT fell thru, we needed to stay ANYWHERE. We got an air b&b for 2 months.
THAT was expensive kids!!!
We have been living in our new home for about 2 years now. It was quite a battle to get here but here we are!
Hopefully this opens the door for new opportunity for you to find a better place!

I wonder how much property taxes and insurance went up for the owners. Down here they've increased quite a lot each of the past three years. Some folks with rental properties saw as much as a 60% increase in property value/tax.
