We have him and our cat, best friends.
He is a year new to us.
Our cat is new to our family and is still adjusting.
She is 100% Shedalofagus. Another total mess.
We all fit in together well here!
Indeed, the bestest friends ever!!!

We're in Lyman btw. We ARE neighbors. We almost bought a house in Shapleigh. Really nice place too!

Wife told me today, that I've been a grumpy old man recently. Sorry if this has been evident on the forum as well. Don't think I've been getting enough sleep.

Never noticed, but we all deserve to display emotion on occasion. I tend to disappear for a few days when I'm down and out.
My health plays a major roll in that.

Besides @Doom! being more of dill-hole than usual, I haven't noticed any changes in demeanor from any other members here, including you.

A dill-hole perhaps but he is our dill-hole.

I don't watch the news, but I still have insurance, and it's no worse than anything else in this state.

Whenever I get a question about why I'm so grumpy, I always say its because I haven't had enough apple pie this week!
(Any idea how many apple pies I've had thrown at me????)

My wife totally understands why I get so grumpy and depressed.
For 50 years I've been able to do what I want, when I want.
My health barely lets me out of my chair. It's pretty depressing to not be able to enjoy summer.
The smoke from the fires keep me in. The crappy lungs keep me on my machine.
I get pissy.

Man, I just had to put down my favorite cat who was also almost 14 because he had a tumor in the same exact place. I pray that she recovers well. I miss my couch buddy

I feel ya brutha. I'm not quite as far down that hole but I'm in a similar situation. When you been independent and able-bodied your whole life, being ill and unable to do what you want when you want is a verrrrrry bitter pill to swallow. Keep your chin up my green friend!
