To start off, I am not a fan of German cars for the most part, but whoever at Mercedes thought to create a one-legged jack needs to have that jack thrown at their head.
I absolutely despise Eurotrash; but that jack has done the job for me more than a few times unfortunately..🤣

They definitely were far from the first…

Okay, now buddy, those are fighting words. I said German trash, but I will draw a line in the sand and put my dukes up when it comes to defending McLaren and Lotus pre-Chinese sellout.

McLaren? Really? 🤣

Number 1-not in the Eurotrash category.. Eurotrash to just about any lifetime automotive technician includes (roughly) Mercedes, Bimmer, Saab, & Volvo.. Peugeot, and Citroen are honorable mentions.. Sure-there are a handful of others-but Supercars don’t typically enter that conversation.

Number 2-they sure weren't well known for holding together for a while there in open wheel racing years ago…🤷🏻‍♂️😅

I’m veryyyyyy familiar-as I said; “unfortunately”, lol.. Used it at least a dozen times for my CLK500..

1. Mclaren for sure gets dumped in the Eurotrash category to some.
2. I’ll take them any day in open-wheel racing win or lose over the crybaby drivers at Mercedes or the red menace Ferrari, who throw a fit if they don’t have it their way. :stig:

Definitely not the kind of folks I’d be hanging out, or working with.. 🤣

As for the other-I don’t have a dog in that fight.. I enjoy the racing, but brand loyalty has never been something I’ve worried about. 🍻🤙

Is it brand loyalty if I can’t afford one? To me, I just like the legacy of McLaren more than the others, so I stick with them. Well, that is, when anything interesting happens. F1 as a whole has been dead to me since the V6 era started.

they need to outlaw political signs on public property. swear i just went through an intersection, on one corner, no joke, 15 vote for some a-hole signs. across the street, 15 more vote for some a-hole signs. across the street, i counted 11 that had been (I'm assuming) taped to the back of the fence.
there's one street where there are signs in the parkway grass every 20 yards for a good 1/8 mile, it's like a damn race track only instead of sponsors it's vote for some a-hole.
and what compounds my pissed off'ness is those damn signs will be up for 3 weeks after the election. i can remember in past elections where they're still up in January. eventually the wind ends up blowing them down and into the street where drives then become idiots trying to not run them over.
It is illegal in many many cities in Florida. Not just political, but any temporary sign.
It is illegal in this county here and right now with the major hurricane coming I am glad.

Yesterday, I mailed a 19x14x17 inch box that weighed 18.5lbs to a town thats only a 2.5 hour drive from where I lived. It cost me $65.40! Rediculous!!!🖕🤬🖕

Commercial sellers gets a massive discount through their delivery service providers. It would have probably cost a retail vendor like $10-$15 to ship what you had sent out. Us, regular folks, gets raked over the coal!

it's a bit foggy this morning. visibility is probably 1/8 of a mile. needless to say people are driving with there heads further up there butts than usual.
Sorry. I'll roll the window up next time. 😶‍🌫️🫠😁

....and if your head is going to be way down there, be courteous and use a periscope.
