I've been at my dad's gfs since december. If I missed the trash at his house id get bitched at by everyone. Even though its half a can each week there'd be room next week.

I dont live tgere and my sister missed it 3 weeks in a row. She fills it up more too. No one said a thing to her and she expected me to empty the filled up can into the wheelie bin when I pulled a muscle in my back.

Tell me how I got fussed at by my dad and she's ignoring me when she's the one that caused it and I dont live there. 😆😆
I'm confused, you say you've been there since December, but don't live there?

No offense to any of the older folks here as you are all wonderful, but I really don't understand when elderly folks say "Kids should be outside more! They should do the things we used to do." yet, when I start up my dirtbikes TO CLEAN IT, I get the cops called on me? What the fudge? And don't even get me started with riding it on the street. Cops called instantly, friends plates ran because he was involved, and then I got lectured by the cop saying she didn't want to scrape my skin and body off the concrete when I crash? I go the speed limit, I wear a full face helmet and goggles, chest protector, and riding pants, gloves, and motocross boots? Like why can't kids have fun anymore? It isn't hurting anyone. After I moved to boring I haven't gotten the cops called once, but I get threatened all the time that someone will kick my a$$ if I ride by them again. I was riding like once a week. I tore the bike apart to fix the engine, and I don't even see the point in fixing it if I get threatened everytime it starts up.
That was my fun. I loved to get chased! Nah na nah can't get me lol we woud mess with the cops 😆

No insurance means the state gets to float the cost of your xrays and cast when you break your arm...

It sucks but thats real.
Your health insurance should kick in for your medical bills. They don't kick in for the other person that you had the accident with......if they got hurt. But an accident with a utv, atv, or a dirtbike with a car or truck......it's usually the person on the off road vehicle that has the worse injuries.

So if uninsured dirtbikes can't ride on the road......why do they let bicycles ride on the road? I know those aren't registered, insured for comp and don't get ticketed. But they still get into and possibly more accidents with cars and trucks.

and then there ebikes! most of which are basically electric motorcycles. no reg, no insurance, no helmets. (although laws are starting to hit the books for them)

Yeah, I wanted one. One of the fast dirtbike/dh mtb kind. A lot of the laws revolve around pedals vs pegs. You can get a pedal ebike and convert to pegs. They look like a lot of fun.

Ask your friendly lawmakers.
I'm sure it has something to do with 'motorized' in motorized vehicle laws and such.

Ask them why rich ppl don't pay taxes and why only old ppl get to write laws.

If there is a thin little dime to be made by sueing someone, you KNOW there are lawyers already sharpening their pencils and waxing their briefcases... THIS is how over regulation happens and why there are 8 trillion laws written about things like RC drones.

Its the society WE all built and love!

I was refering to a young person without health insurance when I mentioned the accident. You very well could be right. Laws change all the time. A person who was considered uninsured may have a coverage loophole now, or not, or who knows.

If there IS insurance there is NO QUESTION.
I am sure of that and I think thats why the laws are there, generally.

You need to keep in mind, it only takes 1 uninsured ATV to hit 1 lawmaker's wife's Porsche and ALL hell breaks loose.

Makes NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL how many other responsible riders there are... Karen wants blood!

EVERYONE is worried about the ding in the hood and passing dozens of laws to make sure hellion hooligans on death bikes aren't out prowling the streets of suburbia... Karen broke a $700 nail!!!

I didn't say this was fair, I'm saying how it IS.

I noticed a weird faint smell when I walked into my room. It was warmer today so it began to rain; I can’t tell if it’s an ozone smell or not. I smelled and checked the outlets and they are ice cold and didn’t really smell like anything ( nothing was turned on anyways to begin with) 😐

Did you wash your socks? 😜

Sometimes faint smells can drive you nuts when you can't pinpoint them.

At our old office I kept smelling what smelled like a natural gas leak, but only in one small area and only randomly.

One day I pinpointed the smell. It was whenever I was cutting foamboard, it gave of the smell for only an instant, probably caused by the friction of the blade. After that I noticed it only when cutting foamboard.

in CA if you take the pedals off its classified as a moped. which requires a license, registration, insurance, and a helmet. as well as obeying traffic laws.
also if its over a certain power limit (i don't remember what the number is), if its capable of a certain speed (i don't remember what it is) its classified as a moped in CA. there's also something to with an age limit. i don't ride'm, so i don't care. not that anything will ever be enforced sense it's CA.

Pulling up to work before 5:30am, I see at least a dozen firetrucks outside my hospital. I park off site, so as I approached my entrance, I realized all the windows are dark. No power! Worked my way to another entrance that had over a dozen ambulances, transferring ICU patients to the main campus.
Apparently, there was a fire in one of the electrical closets. We're on back up power. For me now, its just wait and see.

if there are breakers or contactors in there that get sent out for service/refurbishment some of that may come my way. (its happened before)

on my way to work this morning i saw 2 people walking down the sidewalk together wearing masks. under there chins. like wtf? why still?
then i get almost all the way to work and saw a guy ridding a bike (most likely a homeless guy) wearing a mask, like over his nose/mouth. like wtf?
idk why that annoyed me so much, but it did.

Because it's completely ridiculous, and we are surrounded by these goofballs. 🤷‍♂️
