Many holes from push pins in the wall that I now have to fix. We still have the paint we used on the walls but still extremely annoying 😐

Found a tick buried in my own leg last night. Guess I get to call the vet for myself today. See if I can cancel out the dogs play for attention getting my own Lyme disease ....ridiculous. not too concerned...no classic bullseye. Etc

Get the tick tested. You don't always get a bullseye. And there's a number of other things you can get from a tick that are much worse. I've been dealing with this crap for 25 years. Seriously, if you have the tick you can have it tested. If it comes back that it is carrying something you'll know befor symptoms express themselves.

Also any gear pants, boots, backpack.....anything that gets brought back into your house treat with permethrin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permethrin
There's lots of different sprays and treatments that have it in them. Repel has a gear spray that I use.

It's not for skin, only gear. But it will kill anything that lands on your gear.

When I used to spend a lot of time in the woods, my designated outerwear are treated with permethrin, and I hang it in the shed until winter. I'll also douse Off! Deep Woods to my boots each time I head out.

Appointment at 330 for me. Good times
I don't know how but I've only ever seen one tick, and it was on my dog. I spend all summer in the woods in the trees building forts and single track dirtbike trails, and I've never been bitten. I live in Oregon, so I would think they are EVERYWHERE as 3/4 of our state is covered in trees and forests. I hope all goes well with the appointment!

Ooops forgot today is Patriots Day which meant the ticket office was likely closed (All I got was a pre-recorded message) I'll try again tomorrow :dead: :dead:
Wait, you guys in Maine observe Patriots Day? I thought it was solely a Boston thing.
