In Iceland, during December/Winter, the sun never gets fully above the horizon. It's half visible during the day. 11~am sunrise & 3~pm sunset.

That’s pretty much how it is here, the sun doesn’t truly rise. In the summer time it’s the opposite. It never dips below the horizon, so we get almost 24 hours of daylight and you can see the moon and the sun at the same time.
 
Here's how my day started. Let's see if charging this 2s lipo that has 3v collectively (Brand new in the box, thanks for that one spektrum) results in a fireball or rc fun.

I didn't really want the first one. I'm not a fan of the smart battery thing. The wife got us a pair of 1/18 crawlers for Christmas. I may have mentioned wanting the Redcat ascent apex and she got the 1/18 Capra. The scale comparison is a bit laughable.

so i think my old RCA portable CD player died yesterday. my CD changer wouldn't spit out the tray again (band broke again, it happens, i can fix it) so i dug out a portable. decided sense what i was going to listen to was from the mid 90's id go authentic and dig out my OG RCA. put batteries in it, it turned on, i put the CD in it, hit play and it made a faint sizzling sound, like the fuse on a cartoon bomb. turned off and smelled terrible. (on a side note, it smelled funny in a different way when i got it out and had been putting off that smell for about 5 months)
idk if its maybe a capacitor, might be able to fix it. maybe I'm being optimistic.

I hate this. Fuel oil gelled in my garage tank and I have no heat in the garage right now… in my 23 years of living in this state, I’ve never seen winter blend #1 diesel gel. I’m very very thankful I have an underground fuel tank for my actual house… I feel bad for the people who air above ground tanks for their house right now.
