Yep, there's the freaking landlord slamming his plow to the ground to plow the parking lot of our apartment building at 2:30am.

Yep, there's the freaking landlord slamming his plow to the ground to plow the parking lot of our apartment building at 2:30am.

While that may suck, it would be good for those who have to leave for work early.
I leave for work, every morning, a little after 4:30am. With yesterday's storm going into this morning and an hvac service person coming this morning, I had to get up at 3am to clean the driveway. Tried to use the snowblower, but the heavy, slushy snow was too much for it. So, I had to attack my rather large driveway by hand.
Yes, the snowblower is rather loud, but I had no choice really. However, the houses in my subdivision are fairly spread out, so there is a bit of a space buffer from the noise.

Just realized my windshield leaks water... so now my windshield leaks, my door seals leak, AND my rear window leaks. So now I guess my morning ritual is gonna be cleaning the water lines off the windshield, and feeding my fish that live in the koy pond located in the rear interior cab corners.

OK, after losing my axle pin the other day on the Comp Fox build, and spending 45 minutes looking for it. Yesterday at work I felt something in my boot and there it was! I checked my boot three times, looked in every nook and cranny, even ran a magnet through it each time. I don't know where it was hiding but that's just crazy.

Today's rant?
Health insurance.
Current carrier bailed on my state for '26 so I've been shopping.
I'm old, Medicare starts in March, so I've been shopping.
Wife's Medicare starts in October, so we'll be shopping.
Don't even got me started on costs...
Shopping ain't fun when it's for something you don't wanna' buy!!

Mine was discontinued also but we've already signed up for a new Medicare.
We always use a Medicare rep. so we don't have to do anything.

On with my Rant:
My Ferritin is up to 99 so I have to visit my vampire.
50 and below I don't have to give blood but 50 and above I'm off to
the vampires.

I actually had an agent come to the house. Got an education and a pitch.
Education made shopping easier. Shopping is making me call him back. His pitched plan really is best for me.

Your rant? My next door neighbor has dealt with that for years so I've seen the effect it can have.

It snowed 4-5" last week.

about 8am this morning i had a weird ass dream. i was playing basketball (you know those small crappy hoops that you stick to whatever with a suction cup? it was one of those) with Courtney Love circa like 1997 in my living room circa 1997. so after a few missed shots i come up behind her and reached around and grabbed her... uhhh.... "fun bags" and she looked up over her shoulder at me and we started making out.
so i woke up not knowing if i needed a lawyer, a doctor, or rehab.
i haven't woken up in a wtf state like that in a long time. maybe i shouldn't have eaten those chili fry's yesterday.
