I mean, at least they didn't leave it in the open, like not the seat or something. But I don't think there is a reason for having it loaded and cocked.
Many who carries for self defense will do so with the firearm cocked and loaded. Its a personal choice, because the few seconds to cock a weapon could be the difference between life and death. While I don't feel safe doing this, I'm understanding and ok with others doing this.

I carry daily, a double action with one in the tube. Thats my preference. To each their own. What I DONT do, and what Noone should do, is leave it laying around for the general public to access. I also dont leave a pistol with a 4lb trigger pull cocked, safety off, laying in a box full of junk unholstered so that any of the many things in that box could cause the gun to discharge. Maybe she just doesn't like her passenger?

I spent almost $100 and ordered a custom shadow box, and it showed up with the finish damaged. I messaged the seller, and they were totally okay with sending a replacement. I open up the 2nd one and there's a big dent in the wooden frame. I messaged the seller again and agreed to a refund. I'm not blaming the seller, I'm willing to bet UPS caused this. I'm just really disappointed and a little frustrated.

I have Goodluck from Amazon.CA so far. I have bought a few items here and there. My buddy has prime, if i need something and there is no free shipping i just call him he orders the item, then i pay him.

I went to buy two springs for my tailwheel on one of my giants, from a hobby store they are a 4 hour drive from me. The springs were $5.00 , i asked them if they would just put them in an envelope and mail to me. No sir we cannot do that, the guy put me over to the manager he said the same thing. We have to send it out with the courier we deal with . It cost me $20.00 for the shipping, i tried everywhere to get these somewhere else, nobody had them, and they only had that one package. Oh well i needed them, so i bit the bullet.

On the flip side with Horizon, Horizon getting their products to their retailers, like AMain, they are soooo slow. My order is pending bc of the ProLine 1/8 buggy tires I ordered is still in stock in supply chain, arriving soon. Hopefully "soon" is sooner than later. Bc if it is later, I might not have 2 new bodies painted and ready to go before I get back to the track. And we all know, no one wants to see a body full of gorilla tape. Lol.
Still pending. :mad::mad:

Really Horizon? Really letting down your racers and teams. Only wanting to focus on the beginners and RTRs. Classic Horizon.
Been a week and Horizon still hasn't shipped them out to AMain yet???? I don't understand... Unless they're coming from China it will take another month.... But I thought ProLine tires were made in the USA??? 🤣

I am currently waiting (must wait 45 days beyond last purchase) to close my Amain account.
I've been looking for a servo arm for over a week. They don't list how long the short arms are hole to hole LIKE EVERY OTHER SERVO ARM... their little arms say 'fits dromida, mini B...' Usless info when I'm trying to fit the arm into an Optima Mid.
They don't mind me blowing $100 on useless servo arms but sending someone TO DO THEIR JOB and measure it... too much effort. 🤬
Since I already have 3 that don't fit... REALLY want to just buy the right one and move on...

I also asked about Elceram Escs... much too busy I guess. No help with servo arms? I can't wait to see how an actual issue gets ignored!
They saved me the trouble.

See ya Amain. Not another dime. 😐

How you EVER managed to combine the 2 sh!ttiest compainies in RC into one order... 🤣🤣🤣
You'd be better of trying to put $20 bills on your wheels and racing like that.

I know you like Proline. I have NO idea why. 🤷‍♀️

I have Schumacher tires and factory Kyosho wheels on my buggy. Time to switch brands Kiddo!!! 😉

Like every other company, 'contact us' is a 'feel good' button on a web page. It doesn't actually connect to anyone but its so comforting to see before you drop $300 on a product that you MIGHT actually need help with later.

I paid Amain prices for convenience and service... ummmmmm.... 🤔🤷‍♀️☹️

I am not a fan of points and discount codes and all the other crap they put on their site.
If you can give me a better price, do it. Not sometimes, not because I knew the magic word... SAVE EVERY TIME.
There are PLENTY of Kyosho dealers with better prices.

I spent a LOT of money on this build. If Amain had better prices, better service... they could have supplied me with prob 50-75% of the build. THIS is a better plan I guess. 😐

I believe the descriptions on each product are copied from the manufactures description so not totally AMain's fault there, its just who/whatever brand it is doesn't actually specify what the measurements are. Which suck. Unless its AMain'ed owned brands like ProTek, EcoPower, Upgrade RC, ect, those are their own product descriptions, last time I looked at some of their stuff its pretty well written.
I like AMain, I can get literally anything on there and I have like 8 wish lists of stuff I need or want for each car so it helps me stay organized.

I actually don't, because its Horizon owned and they messed it all up. I just bought PL tires bc they were on sale, and plus other people at the track use them aswell. These are for the Ebuggy for fun/practice runs so I really don't care about how they perform/handle, especially bc I'm just getting into 1/8 outdoor, idk what tire treads and compounds work the best so I just went for what was most popularly ran. Now, If I knew and had more knowledge about 8th scale outdoor, and all about treads and compounds I would either go with ProMotion, TZO, or Jcon in a heart beat. I'm not sure is ProMotion still has their sale but they have a big deal rn on Cosair bar tires for 5 bucks a pair, no inserts tho but its fine but if it is still up and running thats on my list to be ordered. Also on what I said numerous times, Horizon makes up ATLEAST 65% (imo) of the hobby so there is no way you can get away from them. Especially if you own a Horizon car like I do.

Anytime that I had to get in contact with AMain I had really good service so Ill continue using them. Been using them ever since I got into RC.
I used their 15 dollar off coupon the other week to get my order below 200 total. And store credit aswell since I order from them so often.
They're really good, on point and on time on getting shipments out, when they have the actual product, lol (Horizon supply chain issues like above as example) They get everything packaged and shipped out fast, once its out of their hands, most of the time its via USPS, so if it is, USPS is the one to mess it all up. Lol.

Myself currently I only own 3 sets of ProLine tires.
One set of Positron SCTs worn down to slicks, I got from my buddy, they hook up well.
One set of discontinued Hyrax SCXLs I got used, they're discontinued so they were prob made better too! Lol. For the slash. Had them on the truck for a year, tread is worn down enough to the point it doesn't go anywhere in grass. Had BFG KO2 XL tires in my wishlist but 29 bucks for a pair? Nope for me... Ill just get a set of stock Traxxas BFGs on Jennys for 30 bucks.
One set of Bald Eagle Ts for the rustler. The older ones I have that I use on the rears, those are pretty good but the newer ones I have that I use in the front are terrible as they did a running change in foam inserts, I mean they grip up but the foam is SUPER firm and has like atleast a 5mm air gap between the foam and the actual tire.

I understand your points about using manufact descripts... this is WHY i contacted them... the descriptions are lacking. Yes it IS their job to answer questions about their products. To ask ANYONE who is nearby the actual part to take 5 mins out of their busy day to see if 1 of the 30 that could potentially fit, actually will fit.
Me buying 20 servo arms to test fit and then not be able to return for open package... and then it will cost me a morning to repackage relabel and return what I don't use an pay shipping on top of that.
I'll say again... already own 3 that don't work... I am NOT buying another.

Did you ever ask if tires or a body or a set if arms or shocks would fit?

Why is this different? 🤷‍♀️

I have a received confirmation. I know the request I sent in went somewhere.

I get better customer service from plazajapan and theres a language barrier to contend with.

I HAVE had good luck with amain customer service in the past. Maybe, if I could call them AND hold a picture up to the phone so they might see and have some idea as to the issue I've been having... 🙄
Internet customer service should be no different than voice.

Why don't they give you $15 off every order? Why is a coupon involved? It dossn't matter.
I'm not gonna be getting them any more. 👍

Don't keep handing your money to proline if you don't like them. Plenty of other tire co out there who DON'T suck. 🤷‍♀️

I'm sure theres a bunch of 1/8 buggy ppl who could help with a good tire for your buggy and get it hooked nicely.

Those 'running change' foams sound like a bunch of crap to me.
They ran out of 1 and thru in another that doesn't sell as well, they don't care.
That gap sounds like a great way to go thru tires in about 1/2 the time. Maybe it was intentional after all. 🤔

I used to use proline ALL the time!!! They WERE by far my fav tire company.👍 Then one day, horizon. ☹️

Yea that's what I've been trying to get myself to do but it hasn't been working.
After this slow shipper gets my tires to me thats it that I'm ordering from PL.

This same order, I was essentially forced into buying ProLines paints for the new bodies I'm getting bc Duratrax, on what I used to use, those are all non existent now. ProLine took Duratrax's paints, and just put their label on it. Well, it is Horizon so they can do whatever they want too I guess... But it just sucks. Hopefully these colors comes out good. If not Ill probably switch to like Traxxas or Spaz Stixs for paint. Tamiya is ok but they charge too much for too small of a can... The issue with me is trying to find the same color/color code on what Duratrax had/ProLine has, with other brands.

I was thinking about getting a 19 Silverado PL body for the slash, but then I remembered, I have 2 proline buggy bodies that cracked literally after painting them while putting them on the car, so no go there. So I went with Jcon.

I hope to move away from rattle can paints too. Paint is very expensive!
I'm curious to see what results you get from the 'new' paint brand.

I already own a compressor or 3 so no issue one I set up filters and a water trap... an airbrush will be next.
I am getting close to painting. Its a bit cold but I can do it mid-day and will be fine. 😎

I can set up an exhaust fan/booth and get painting in my basement with any kind of luck.

I have a bunch of lexan from TBG now. Hopefully I have better luck than you with cracking bodies!
I've seen lexan break but because of impact... not just by install! Thats weird. I haven't bought a Proline body in a while but the last one I bought feels pretty solid. 🤞

I hope your delayed tires land soon!!! 😎

There is a stuck pixel on my PC monitor and it’s driving me nuts. Not sure how long it’s been there I just noticed it like 5 minutes ago. It’s not a dead pixel because it’s not black, it’s cyan or green? I’m trying to use a site called JScreenFix to fix it.

I've got some weird small scratch in mine that affects a few pixels and seems to show only when I play rocket league. Drives me nuts. It's physical, not the game. I know it is because I can feel it. It's all white so it's not bad

boss was gone 3 days last week. got back this morning with his hair on fire. apparently we need 3 switched elevating motors. and we have 2 in stock, not even close to prepped btw. so that'll be a 5 hour job. plus whatever else got ignored for 3 days last week. so yeah....
i hate those damn motors when they're not prepped, swapping the output shaft on the gearbox sucks.
and because he was gone for 3 days the boss is going to want everything out the door today.
not even 8:30 and I'm already up to my neck in chaos. so pissed the F off right now.

I feel ya, because I'm not going to be here next week the boss is going to dump everything possible on me this week. He's already a stress ball!
