6:00pm rolled around so I went out to start my truck to let it warm up. Friggin crank position sensor went out AGAIN and it wouldn't start. Just cranked until the battery died. This has happened before and usually if it cranks long enough, it'll pop off... battery just didn't have the juice to crank for that long. To top it off, temps dropped into the -30's today, so it was COLD.
Roomate came out and we hooked jumper cables up to it, the battery voltage dropped enough that GM's fantastic passlock system forgot the keys chip. It would start and then immidietly die.

I then spent the next hour and a half going through a passlock relearn procedure just to get it started.... all outside in the cold. My new servo came in the mail, so I was actually looking forward to coming home on time. I'm driving the "summer" car to work tomorrow I suppose and I'll have to get my yearly CPS sensor from the auto parts store. Gotta love 90's GM engineering!
