I probably won't have time to run this today, but I installed some MST wheels/tires on my custom 1/10 GROM. I think they suit the Celica body well. I would like something with more sidewall though, for better off-road capability.

ran the new winter beater truck long enough to get the ESC calibrated and trims set. then added 3/4oz to the nose to help keep the front down. slipper clutch (the old peg style) has me concerned. its tight (minimal slip on high traction) but the pressure plates were 155 degrees after like 5 minutes.

I took my custom 1/10 Arrma GROM (with Toyota Celica body) out for some rally bashing today and made a short video of it.

Very cool! Now you gotta give it a rally car livery.

Molly is a bit of a photo bomber huh? 😅

You need a plate before you get pulled over. Nice ride. This the nascar grom or?

started putting the winter beater through its paces, looking for bugs to work out before it hopefully rains this winter.
other than the slipper clutch getting hot, the motor and ESC getting hot (i know it's over geared, need to go down at least 2 teeth on the pinion), it driving like it has drag brake, and jumping like it's super rear end heavy (its actually hard to keep level) it seems ready.

sense iv got the charger and batteries out i should probably run other cars as well. idk what yet. ...should probably also film it for youtube... we'll see, I'm feeling kinda lazy and the camera battery is dead.

Got to finally drive my new Spektrum iXSR+ for the first time with my XO-1 and i'm impressed other than me having to give my XO-1's suspension and steering a realignment also had to reverse the steering and rebind the receiver it was a good flawless run with the new radio. I had zero issues with my new iXSR+ for it's first outing i have to give my new iXSR+ an A+ but we'll see how it fairs in the long run.
