It's the mud. It could be a fugly Tesla truck in the mud, and Chewy gets all warm and extra fuzzy. And besides... Ford's Rule... Chevy's suck! What is wrong with you! It's a ford for damn sake!

To each his own but, I think across the board they all suck in their own way. Made to fail. It's the mud. It could be a fugly Tesla truck in the mud, and Chewy gets all warm and extra fuzzy. And besides... Ford's Rule... Chevy's suck!![]()

I love to hear this, that's what it's all about!I haven't had this much fun with the trucks in a long time, it was a blast!
Nice
So how'd the comparison shake out?
If you keep them out of turtle mode (upside down) you won't notice so much. The belly of the Mojave looks like hell aftef only one set of batteries through it, lol
Thanks for the comparison notes!View attachment 247787
Similar power and size.

The Mojave had significantly greater suspension wheel travel.
The slash sets lower so overall had the advantage in stability in the turns , the Mojave seemed to take to the air with more ease and and control, it seemed to handle the landings a little better too.

That said I did put the Mojave on its top several more times then I care to admit. Lol.
Had to do the walk of shame 3 times with the Mojave and only once with Maxx Slash.
Now I should also mention that I am sure as I get more use to the Mojave’s handling characteristics, as well as making some added suspension tweaks , I am sure will improve the overall performance of the Mojave.
All of which I had already been doing with the MAXX slash, since I have had it for several months now, and ran it many times making adjustments as I went.
If I were going to race, with more of a serious intent to win, or I was running against skilled racers, I would be grabbing the MAXX Slash at least for now.
I really need more time to dial in the Mojave 6s and get use to its handling characteristics.
On a different note.
I do like the Traxxas clip less body and plastic chassis.
But even with the mud guards installed I still get a lot of rocks and debris in the chassis.
Nothing in my steering linkage so I still see the new 3D printed guards a success.

By comparison, the Mojave stayed much cleaner in its chassis tray., and that without any aftermarket mud guards.

Which in that regard I think I prefer the plastic chassis of the Traxxas .

I ran my AX24.
I think I might need a servo!
