Slash. Put on the hoon tires. Cause IDC about this set anymore. Did a huge burnout. Rip rubber lol.
Got a rusty battery charged up which I'll take out in a few.

I just received my very first drift car: 240z Mini Z
RC drifting has never interest me, but, years ago, I felt the same way about crawling, until I actually tried it. For awhile, rc crawling was all I was interested in. So, we'll see if I get into this or not. ,

you get the 020 chassis? ill tell you right now, lock the rear diff and put the front one way in it or its hopeless. front toe out also helps

also iv heard the longer wheelbases are easier to learn with. mine is the short wheelbase. i just ordered a new body (2000GT-R) which is mid wheelbase to test the theory.

good luck.

I have very little knowledge of these Mini Z. I just bought this one because I love 240Z, and really like this dark purplish color. Heck, I didn't even know it was awd and comes with drifting tires, until I opened it last night! 🤣

I think we use the same decision making process for our purchases. 🤣

Yes, details and research are for nerds! Spontaneity is the way to go!

Let me know how it goes. I have a kid wanting a drift car, and I am curious how the Mini Z would be on a linoleum floor.

I'll see how drifting goes. I know less about drifting than I do about Mini Z.
Worse case scenario, the drifting tires comes off and replaced with race slicks.

it works pretty good. probably not good for the linoleum though. but the linoleum in my kitchen is from the late 1950's so...

These tires will actually drift on asphalt.
Good to know. We have a fairly large kitchen/dining area, all linoleum. Drifting around the dining room table might be challenging due to visibility. But we ran a 32 scale drifter from Walmart on it a few years ago and it was quite fun.

Do like that Kamakazi RC fella. Run them on the rooftops. No joke. He puts ramps on the roof & ground. Up & down, rooftops to roof. No kidding.
