You need a couple shoe box jumps. 😎
I've had this ramp for awhile, and it's great for the mini scale RCs!
I just enjoy trying to get fast, clean laps. I may look into an inexpensive timing system. I think I would really enjoy racing the clock.

Now since you have the micro b, now you need a mini b, and then a 22 5.0 🙃
Nah. I've got bigger rigs I don't use just because it needs space, and I dont want to make it hours of commitment to play with them. These micro b are perfect for my driveway, garages, and time.

Do you think they are big enough or well small enough, idk. But for my basement with fuzzy carpet? Or would it be best on a flat surface with tiles or sealed concrete?
I think they'll fine for normal carpeting, unless you have those tall, shaggy carpeting.

They need low nap carpet or smoothish surfaces. Concrete with a slight texture to it works best imo.
My basement has long nap carpets and it doesn’t perform very well down there. If the surface is too smooth, they tend to spin out.
Otherwise a wicked fun little buggy. 🤙

Asphalt is a very good surface.

Yea my basement has the shaggy stuff.
You could buy large sections of inexpensive felt sheets at a fabric store. I think they're around $3-5 per squared yard. You could piece em together and get a decent sized track layout and jumps, right over the shaggy carpet.

I ran on classroom carpet with my mini slash and mini summit big block 3s modtly rwd. Going one way they spun. Going another way the gripped and dipped. I'm talking hook and book gone. I was surprised by it. Didn't do the diffs and drive shafts too good.

Heck, you may be able to lay it right over the lawn!

"Landscaping fabric" is not too expensive.
Great idea! It may be just a little too supple/soft to be on top of grass. I have a huge roll of the stuff. I may have to test this out!

There is a heavy duty version that we call geo-fabric around here. Similar to a thick felt.
Landscape or larger building supply places should carry it. I think I've seen it in 5 foot and 20 foot widths, by as long as you want.

Tried it yesterday, it didn't work well. Just as I thought: too light and soft, so it would lift and bunches up when the micro b turns.

always go for the shortcut!

i didn't run anything today, but yesterday i spent about a half hour working on my Mini Z drifting. i don't think I'm getting any better. i think i need to tune the car some more. need to find the rear spring kit and probably change the tires...

I haven't run my LaTrac Rally for a couple of years. Last time I ran it, it took a hard crash, and really cracked up the front of the body. I fixed it Shoo Goo and drywall tape.
Earlier this evening, I charged it up for a few hours, and then zipped it around the driveway under floodlights. Forgot how fun this mini can be!
