As a kid in the 80's, bicycles were a means of freedom and adventures. We had posses of us groms riding our bikes all over our little city.I don't think there is any major brand of bmx/freestyle bike that I havn't broken multiples of. I spent a lot of time riding, like every spare minute until I got married. Then I had to make time to ride. I started around 1977. Probably quit riding about 2001.
Parents never had any ideas where we were. We were just expected to be home for meals and bed time. Freedom!
As much as I loved my GT, those humble Huffy bikes held the fondest, dearest childhood memories.
