Accompanied by a couple glasses if Proper Irish Whiskey.

The era of BeerGoggles may end to make way for some WhiskeyGlasses 🤪

My original thought was a white top, with lame flake camel yellow to make for a nice foamy beer look. But now thinking about it, I'm sure this thing will do quite a bit of sliding on the roof and the white will be scuffed and yucky looking. Maybe just Lame Camel all the way? What do you guys think?

Welcome back @Beer_Goggles_RC ! Been a while!
Saying that I've missed you guys would be an understatement. Little man just turned 1 on Wednesday and I'm finally getting some adequate sleep giving me a bit of time and energy to get back at it! Though still pretty limited lol

Damn bro. Missed having you hanging out on here. Welcome back. And grats on the improved quality of life. To keep from getting woke up by the rugrat, might I suggest Beer Earmuffs to go along with the goggles? 😜

ESC wires are just nubs. Was looking up methods of butt connecting wires that could handle high amps and found this pretty cool method on another forum. Essentially, just hold the wires together with some twenty four gauge copper wire and solder for a great connection. It doesn't look too terrible either.

Used red for the 'A' phase because I have equal lengths of red and black wire and didn't want to be left with only red lol

Back in time for just a bit before winter creeps in again!!! 🥶
I hope to got some insulation and a nice heater during your break!
Happy Birthday to Kiddo too!!! 🎂🎉😁
I'm up about 40lbs of solid insulation since little man was born, I think I'll fare well this winter 🤣 might have to invest in some tire and battery warmers, though.

I like the white foam roof idea. :thumbs-up:

Unfortunately the hole indicators for the rear wing didn't align perfectly and resulted in some warping. But I'm looking at getting a carbon fiber wing after a few passes anyway.

Also installed some LED lighting that I had laying around

Currently waiting on a long enough sensor cable to reach tho motor and we'll be making passes!

In the meantime I need to refill the shocks as they have leaked a bit over the past year that this thing has been shelved.

Finally got everything finished and was able to make a few passes at lunch today. Pretty bad track conditions. Dusty, bumpy, rocky. But its what I had to work with. Spent most of my time shimming rear shocks to get the launch to straigten out, then a bit of time working on the throttle speed on the TX. Ran a 3.73 on a cheap set of injora belted slicks, undergeared (17t), and 8.2v battery. Really happy with where this has started. I think once I can slap on the proline Reaction+ rears and find a decent spot to run then it will really hook up and hit sub 3 easy.

A little bit of stoke tonight..

Finished quite a few of the setup changes and working on getting the launch straight in the garage. I can actually hear the tires hooking up rather than just doing a rolling donut. Made some significant rear suspension and drivetrain changes and it seem to be launching really well with some ProLine Bald Eagles in Clay.

Some more setup changes to come though before I make another pass. And more parts to wait on 😬 lol

Full setup sheet and parts list to follow the next pass
