Build Thread Six Pack Attack - Beer’s Team Associated DR10

This will be the first kit I’ve build in a long time. Funny enough, the DR10 was actually the first kit I ever build. But I was extremely new to RC and couldn’t get it to launch straight. Really didn’t understand setup and tuning. Shortly after sold it and moved on to 1/8 racing.

But now it’s back! And with quite a bit more setup knowledge there’s no giving up this time

This build will almost exclusively be built during my lunch breaks and other downtime I happen to have throughout the workday as I’ve lost nearly all free time at home any time I have there is being put towards the nitro drag slash. Too many projects and not enough time!

Well… today went rather well considering I’ve only been building in the driver seat of my work van had about an hour and a half of down time between lunch and waiting on parts to be delivered.

I’m up to the shocks but will require a shock stand and work bench to properly bleed them.

I think this is gonna end up being finished quite a bit sooner than I expected

It’s the 350 with a KUV body so it’s rather spacious

For a van, they are bad a$$ I really like them. My employer bought one and we set it up as our service van. I drive it most the time so I pretty much dictated where tools, parts, etc. have lived thus far.

I have a Typhon project that ain't even running, I gotta fix my Mini and B74. And I have to do a semi rebuild on both the slash and rustler

And I don't care about the Tamiya anymore.

I also gotta clean the slash the old transmission i’m gonna close it up and then throw it in a box for when I decide to figure out hoe to rebuild the stock slash with what I have

seeing as that’s where I live I guess I have too this slash is not going to be a drag slash build though

the fact they last raced not even a mile from me idk if I have an excuse now
