This is Star. She's not mine, but I watch her occasionally.
She's a vicious Pit Bull, you have to be careful with them you know.
I think she's smiling 'cuz I'm rubbing her belly.
Or she's about to take a bite of my face.
I guess I better keep rubbing her belly!

I have known a lot of Pitbulls, and never once have I seen one that wasn't a big baby. They were all very loveable dogs that loved attention. Cute pup.

My shepard will do that. Right before she nibbles on my arm as I'm rubbing an itchy spot

Good friends of mine has one that they paid a lot of money for, and drove from NH to TN just to pick it up. The dog was never very bright, and still very aggressive. They've paid and spent a lot of money and time trying to break this aggressiveness, but the thing is still mean to everyone except it's owners.
It, so far, has bitten their cleaning lady and the Amazon delivery guy, who broke protocol and approached it to try to pet it.

Wow, that's a shame. I had a purebred Boxer that got like that at random times, but he came around.
Star was a rescue from a drug house in Flint, MI , she was under a year old they think. She was the sweetest ever from day 1.

Any dog will be mean if raised wrong. How old was it when they got it? Maybe it was inbred.

Dude, these are good friends of mine and they are very nice, chill people. This pitty was never abused nor taught to be aggressive. They've had another dog prior that was the friendliest.
They got this dog from a breeder weeks after it was born. Like I said, paid thousands for this thing! They've very much regret it, but nothing they can do about it.

Puppy behavior is imprinted at a very young age. We used to raise Sheppards and coon dogs. The breeder is who I was referring to. Not your friends.

They got this thing right at the acceptable weening period. Just weeks old. Breeder has a long, solid reputation. That's why they selected them, and drove all that way.
Personally, I prefer mutts.

And you know this, how?
Because after a night of partying with that rats nest of a head like Jerry's he's going to look wake up looking like Mo.
