Build Showcase SCX24 Tiny Truck

This is my Axial SCX24. It started life as a red Ford Bronco and it's now a Pink thunderstorm F250.

The upgrades are endless! And there are tons of different things you can do with the 1/24 scale platform. As much as I probably shouldn't, I could see getting another 1/24. Then I'd have 2 in this scale and I have 2 in the 1/18. I really enjoy painting, so I like getting different bodies for my chassis. That Basecamp looks so good!
I have 2 now. The JLU is almost completely upgraded from factory with not many original parts left. I also have a Base Camp which is crazy, yet.
But between the two, I almost have enough parts to do a complete build.

I am still learning a lot about all of this. Got my first rc car in August. Have bought a ton of upgrades already (have 2 cars now) but still have to get input/suggestions on pretty much every purchase

I just put 43mm shocks on my Base Camp and am very happy with those, will also be getting some for the JLU too
Yep I have recently went with the shorter shocks and springs on both front and back, using a drip or two of oil in them, rubber bands on my long travel shocks and shocks with flex blades helps also, If you trying to climb some rocks this is good,
Well on my rocks, I have taken some of the crappiest tires and made them work, just with tuning shocks, just something I am playing with also at the moment and seems to help greatly with performance. 🤘🏼

I agree with @Willy0942. I just went to 39mm Injora shocks, as I didn't like the long travel ones even without the springs. I like the Injora much better, I have oil in them too. Been working pretty well. I like that Chameleon motor too.
My next mini project with this rig is putting and F250 body on it.

I found a f250 at goodwill, I want to repaint, I did it a while ago, it fits my short wheelbases the enduro24 and The Menace. I will probably cut out the bed for shock towers and make it a lcg body. You may have seen this on the YouTube when The Menace broke a body mount before thats why its a Menace. I always carry extra bodies with me. 😂
I have 3- 1/24’s but have 9 different bodies, 😂 all my bodies are from goodwill except for the two enduro24 bodies. I can’t remember who turned me onto looking at goodwill but, mad props to who did, it opened up more possibilities with other bodies you just don’t see. And at $1.50 who cares if you mess it up.
Just something else that helps the bank, I don’t think all 7 of the bodies I have bought have even come close to the price of a 3d printed or a custom body.

This makes me want to see if my goodwill has anything good lying around 😁.

As of right now, I think I'll be doing the same with having multiple bodies for my one 1/24 scale.
I did find a non functional FMS smasher chassis on eBay, I'm considering as a platform for a new 1/24 MT. It would need some troubleshooting to fix it. But that could be fun...
