Do you race them? I'm not sure if our local track got their circle track done this summer or not. Or what classes they plan to run. But the RC track is right next door to a new quarter midget track, and the Terre Haute Action Track is just a couple minutes away. This is a Sprint car town. Steve Kinser and the family are like freakin' legends around here.
the Midwest is the place to be for oval .... and yes I do race them .... I know a few places I've been like pt's raceway is way cool ....... we are full time rvers so we get to travel the country in our rv .... and i race anywhere i can find a track .... we are currently in deep south tx in the rgv at an encore park that has a oval dirt track ....... and FYI did you know .. Tony Stewart owns custom works rc car .... that what this car is a custom works outlaw

No, I did not know that. I'm gettin one! Tony and his dad frequented the race shop I worked at. His dad is one helluva cool dude. Never spoke to Tony. He only came over on business, and the employees knew to leave the personalities and race drivers be when they came in. The guys from Two Guy's Garage came in one day wanting to do a story on the shop and they ran them in one door and right out the other. There, you saw the shop. Cya 😅

That's funny. I applied at Schumaker at the Brownsburg Indiana shop. They were dumb not to hire me. But the mentality at all the race shops in Brownsburg was "we can't hire guys smarter than us".

I did all the developmental work on one off and first run stuff at C&R Racing, along with machine fixturing and process development for new production runs. I got all the "fun" parts to make. This was one of the funnest. It's an IndyCar shock. So many super tight tolerances, and nearly impossible details to machine inside of the ports and stuff inside it. Crazy deep drilled and reamed holes.

@Kimmie28 , I love your entry for two reason, first of all the rig is bad ass and second,
it is my favorite road trip ever and we try to make it to Twin at least once or twice a summer.
We didn't get to make the trip this summer because the smoke kept me indoors.
The last time we were there, we had the pleasure of watching base jumpers jumping off the bridge.
Shoshone Falls is amazing also.

Of course I did. It looked like asss, so we (my photography buddy and I) decided to rotate them to a more “natural” position.. 🤷🏻‍♂️😜
We kinda need an excuse-o-meter here to see if you're just saving face here brotha man 😜

Yeah, I was just messing with you because you are the most OCD car builder I have ever seen 🤣

I love the unique build and how crazy aggressive this body looks! It looks like it WANTS to be raced! Great looking ride @jimdavis577 !!! 👍😎❤️

If ANYONE could manage to make this body look good, its you @Littlemotor !!!
The yin-yang sort of theme is making me love this truck!😍😍😍
Thanks homeslice! It looked super trippy, but in a sinister light, ripping up the track with the wheels the way I did them, and against the rattlecan’d Punisher theme..

Yeah- @jimdavis577 ’s open wheel roundy-round is my favorite this month hands down.. If you don’t like Sprint type shiit, you’re a card carryin’ commie bastid in my book.. And I’ve been a huuuuuuuge Custom Works fan since the mid-late ‘80’s.. There is NO WAY my junk should win… Errrrrrybody knows I’m no crawler guy, but the realism, and the photo itself of the whip that’s in the lead will likely keep him right there comfortably imho.. Tremendous rig, and shot for sure. 🤘🍻

I feel that pain. My OCD is OCD trying to level w/ ADHD. I can't be as organized as @Littlemotor but my builds are all blueprinted 🤪🤓
I have a touch of it too, that’s how I recognize. 🤙

Oh I know ya were holmes! I also know deep down how much that shiit aggravates your asss. 😂 As much as it draws your eye to it being “chaotic”, believe me-it was farrrrrr worse squared up with one another, and just didn’t look right at all..
He’s like savant level. 😉

My workbench typically goes from clean, to being cluttered in a day or less, then another project gets priority so all that gets slightly organized off to the side. After a day or so of that, project one takes center stage again. But there is no stage left. So project number two gets stuck in around empty gaps with project number one. Bits and bobs of project one get adsembled, or disassembled, but wait. Project two has an emergency install needed for a test fit. Now where the hell are those parts 🤔
