My workbench typically goes from clean, to being cluttered in a day or less, then another project gets priority so all that gets slightly organized off to the side. After a day or so of that, project one takes center stage again. But there is no stage left. So project number two gets stuck in around empty gaps with project number one. Bits and bobs of project one get adsembled, or disassembled, but wait. Project two has an emergency install needed for a test fit. Now where the hell are those parts 🤔

No imagination huh? Time them together, but skewed to about 2 o'clock position 😉

Kinda fits your personality 🤣🤣🤣
That’s literally what I did. And what I meant by “squared them up”.. 😅

Gimme you addy-I'm sending you a couple Valium.. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

Thanks homeslice! It looked super trippy, but in a sinister light, ripping up the track with the wheels the way I did them, and against the rattlecan’d Punisher theme..

Yeah- @jimdavis577 ’s open wheel roundy-round is my favorite this month hands down.. If you don’t like Sprint type shiit, you’re a card carryin’ commie bastid in my book.. And I’ve been a huuuuuuuge Custom Works fan since the mid-late ‘80’s.. There is NO WAY my junk should win… Errrrrrybody knows I’m no crawler guy, but the realism, and the photo itself of the whip that’s in the lead will likely keep him right there comfortably imho.. Tremendous rig, and shot for sure. 🤘🍻
thanks bud for the shout out like that ..... I love the vibrant colors and designs for the 80s ... I am a gen x ...... after all lmao ..... but on a side note ... went racing last night ..... TQ'd in 410 outlaw ( this car) and then ... won A main with a field of 10 cars ! .... super stocked all the work lately is paying off ... also tq'd and won a main in latemodel as well !!! woot woot !

No thanks 🤐 I'll stick to gummy bears and fruit loops for my buzz. I'm stuck in reclinerville for a day at least. Parts showed up today for the Rey today and that's like Scotty sayin' "I don't have the power Captain!" Well, other parts need to show before that anyway. But I'm laid up, so no biggie. The trip out to the mailbox in like 15 degree weather with a 10mph wind was exactly what my frigid aching bones needed. Most miserable 20 yards I've walked in over 2 years 🤧🥶😖

"WANTS to be raced!!!"
I LOVE IT!!! 😍

Absolutely man-just being honest, and giving credit where it’s due. Gen X’r here as well-1978. I was whooping up on Intimidators, and 2wd Dominator abominations with my Composite Craft, Team Pit Stop (chain drive trans), Andy’s/MIP/RPM RC10 at the local dirt track as early as 1986ish.. Man-those old guys were pissed. 🤣 I didn’t have anything 4wd, but wanted a Dominator BAD… Congrats on the TQ, and win!!! That’s killer man! 🤘🍻

Some of my favorite memories as a kid, and even as an adult have been sitting in the infield at the Terre Haute action track for the World of Outlaws. We'd get as close to center of turn one as we could get, and as close to the track as we could get. Those cars just screamed down that front stretch and came through the corner pointed straight at us at the apex. We were down low, kinda looking up a bit, and never got hit with a bit of dirt. Even better after I was old enough to drink. Great times. Beer, grille grub, and loud ass racecars ripping huge donuts around you 🥰

Then later, on in life was hitting Lincoln Park. It's where all the local boys play. Wingless Outlaw cars, screaming around a tiny 1/4 mile oval. Those that went off turn one dissppeared while rolling down a hill 🤣

So much action at that track. Holy cow. Stock car races looked like demolition derbies sometimes. I actually pitted for a guy that was running his Outlaw sprint. Changed tires, offsets, etc. He was one of our engineers at an aerospace shop I was at. Around 800hp, open long tubes. He pulled it into the shop one day after a bump start up the road. He stopped right next to me and gave the throttle two quip blips to about 6000rpm. I was about deaf for a good bit afterwards.

great stuff right there for sure ..... I still remember the first time I stood next a 10,000 hp top fuel dragster ... and the smell of nitro methane being burned ..... well it burned your nose and eyes ! ..... guess that's why I went and worked for the sarge on the army car ! lmao ...... when he blips that throttle it actually takes your breath away and makes your heart skip a beat .... I don't care how many times you've been near one running !

I was 10yrs old when my pops got us all tickets for the IHRA Nationals at The Rock back in ‘88.. I loved Pro Stock (big Glidden, and Warren Johnson fan at the time), but there is just no contest when it comes to Top Fuel ANYTHING… I was ultra stoked to meet Don Garlits (of Diamond P Sports then), and he signed my Big Daddy Swamp Rat shirt. Also got John Force’s autograph, and Austin Coil let me turn a wrench on a headstud of John’s JP-1 top fuel hemi… I’ll never forget that. I was a Dougzilla fan for a long time back about 15yrs ago, and I’d have to say Clay Milligan currently. Just a really good dude, and super fun to watch.

I was fortunate enough to be a small part of a super late model crew back around 2005-2010. We ran Bushwacker, and Rocket chassis, and SB 2.2 motors machined by THE Sandy Wilkins of Wilkins Motorsports. That was from the time he worked with Charlie Long just before juggling his own shop, and working for Jack over at Rousch Yates Racing.. I haven’t been a NASCAR fan since the days of Cale Yarborough, but will check out a good ol’ roundy-round race as long as it’s from the roof of a racecar trailer in the INFIELD. And last but not least-it’s gotta be on DIRT-asphalt is for GETTING to the show!!! 😜🍻🤘

Roundie rounds have lots of action for certain! There is just something crazy about watching a top-fuel blow by you, feel the air pressure change in the stadium, and finally hear it rip past!
Its not something that can be experienced anywhere but trackside. They are f'ing AWESOME! ❤️❤️❤️

Yep, still in the garage. Been getting the urge to get the RC stuff out again lately, so the Wraith is top of that list.
That is probably my favorite Axial of them all. I missed out on getting one before they discontinued it.

I really wished I got one too. I thought I wouldn't like crawling as much as I do.
I just loved the look of them. I wanted every variation because I couldn't decide. I really like this though

@Kimmie28 , I love your entry for two reason, first of all the rig is bad ass and second,
it is my favorite road trip ever and we try to make it to Twin at least once or twice a summer.
We didn't get to make the trip this summer because the smoke kept me indoors.
The last time we were there, we had the pleasure of watching base jumpers jumping off the bridge.
Shoshone Falls is amazing also.
I love twin. Shoot me a message when your headed to twin next summer

I wasn't even aware they had been discontinued. Been outta the game for a while now.

For all out crawling, there are better rigs. For an all around scaler, they're pretty cool.
