RC Goals for 2026

I appreciate that, but I'm not dead yet. I believe if I have a breath left then I can push my mower one more time.
I have help if need be but to be honest, I refuse it.

I feel the same way, mine is a postage stamp yard anyway, but I can still do 30 minutes behind the mower.

My oldest son lives five houses away, but he's pushing 50 so...

Goals are expanding on our backyard playground, fpv drone, and getting a boat or two . Didn’t have much interest in RC last year. Hope to change that this year

Getting a better feel for drifting and the chassis setup for the feel I want so I can make clean laps at the track. Getting back into scale rigs, and getting some time with friends on the rocks.

Am introducing a buddy of mine to rock crawling today. He will be running my c10...it's already too late for him. He bought a 1rc with my influence...sent me text this morning saying he picked up a spec b on his own. I figure this is the only appropriate next step towards him having a well round collection...lol

It seems worth mentioning fun was had by all...he is convinced he needs a crawler now having driven the c10, and spent some good time with the ascent18....mind you the first 2 cars aren't showing up till tomorrow's mail comes....so there is that

Speaking from experience, dont do that to yourself. I vowed to stop buying new RC's mid summer last year. Longest, most miserable 6 months of my life.

Motor replaced in the tt02, no more belt drive....another car back in action.

Sometimes I get in the way of my own goals....I may have picked up another project ...I did...I did get another project. SMH. LOSI mini sct roller with motor/esc. Has bad servo, and no body. Chassis, suspension and wheels all look good. For just over 20 bucks with the shipping who am I to say no

I like this idea!

I would like to run nitro this year, I didn't at all last summer. I have a Kyosho nitro F1 car that needs completing and then first run.
Keeping with the same theme I never got my go fast out, it's been a few summers for sure.

And lastly I would like to join more comps. I really enjoyed myself at the first event I went to towards the end of 2025.

Do you have a thread about your nitro F1 car? I also have an old nitro F1 as well as a couple electric F1 cars. I'd be interested to see what you've got!

I don't have any information or photos.
It's currently packed away in a box, partially assembled; it's the Kyosho Ferrari.

I want to finish it, it's definitely on the list.

Update:

Here's a little look at what I am working with.
It's going to take extensive rebuilding and space I don't have atm

I have all the parts though and a new in package front wing to replace what broke in moving it.

My buddy who I got back into rc after 20 years has enacted successful revenge for my influence. He has picked up a 1rc sprint car, a ax24 crawler, a speck b, and an arrma grom in the last couple weeks. Now he has come after my goals for the year of having everything in my collection operational at the same time at least once.....and dropped 2 3d printed projects on me to build. Fair is fair,lol.
