I have a good collection of rc cars and trucks. Most get upgrades, all eventually need repairs as nothing here is a shelf queen. I have a couple I need to finish building. While there are definitely more I would like to acquire, I think I would like this to be the year that everything is in working condition at the same time...at least once. I got another 1 back together the other day.
Currently I have 2 builds to complete.
1 motor to swap.
1 that needs appropriate batteries. The current 1s I have for it are under sized in mah and wire Guage so they run hotter than is safe.
1 needs a bumper replaced, I have the parts.
1 works, but needs a new home.
1 needs new rear tires and wheels, as well as some work on the front axle design.
All things considered it's not an impossible task.
Who else has rc goals in mind for this year??

I like this idea!

I would like to run nitro this year, I didn't at all last summer. I have a Kyosho nitro F1 car that needs completing and then first run.
Keeping with the same theme I never got my go fast out, it's been a few summers for sure.

And lastly I would like to join more comps. I really enjoyed myself at the first event I went to towards the end of 2025.

Good thread. Same thoughts here. Goal for 2026 is focus on one car only - my ARRMA SCT buggy conversion. 3S speed runs on a casual basis.

Good luck on achieving your RC goals, Ritz. -AC
Any we will get a build thread on thus 1??
Thank you
Gotta refine the collection down to a car or two for moving to the UK! So that’s the biggest RC thing that’s been on my mind. So many basher options but I can only bring one
Good luck with the move! How many do you have ....getting down to just 1 or 2 would be a challenge for me.

I've been cleaning a space in our basement for a new and improved, much larger RC work area. I put up a few leds, took down a few florescent tubes, did a lot of dusting, wiping, cobweb removal... Now that there is lots of light, its looking like it will be easier than I'd thought it would be.
Having a dedicated, large RC area will be awesome!

Getting my stuff organized is big. Getting my gear operational again is a different challenge.

I'll finally be able to get stuff tested, parts ordered, cars fixed without having to constantly move it all around the house.

WAY BETTER!!! 😎👍😁

I've said it many times, a 1/8 scale buggy is the one "must have" RCs I'd choose if the wife said, "Pick one..." She would never say that though, because she's the one that is always buying my toys. You situation is a bit different. If I were in your shoes and moving meant downsizing... anything 1/8 scale would be a top pick.

Health plays a big role.
I get it. Rc for me is 1 of the only activities I have that fits the physical limitations the surgeon gave me. Luckily squeezing the throttle and turning the wheel have very little physical input. All the parts on a 1/10 scale I can lift with 1 finger.
I hope you can get out there for some drive time. If I were close enough I would help you get some time in if I can. Ride to the track etc.

Try to have patience with the lesser 'edumacated' people and their posts...

Am I sensing a little jealousy over those lacking in education....imagine the peaceful existence you could have never learning how to read the post in the first place
