Problems with a new thunder tiger ssk

Can Anyone Help Me

As my name suggests I'm new to this, i've just bought a Thunder Tiger ssk when i start her up all seems fine and then after about half a minute the revs just start going up and up and up until it sounds like its about to explode and then just stays like that until i get her shut off! also whilst shes doing this the r/c seems to have no power to slow her down! Knowing nothing about her i was hoping some one might have some clue why shes ddoing this!!?!??

Also when i start her up how long should i have the glow stick connected for?

Is it brand new and your doing the engine break-in process? First thing I'd do is check the specs on the engine and set the carb needles to what factory settings are. Then check your idle setting with the engine off by looking down the carb throat. At idle, there should be about a 1mm visible gap when you look down the carb neck.
