I think its gonna be $$$$ for a truck that I assume you'll be bashing. Bigger tires will put more stress on all the drivetrain, shafts, bearings and suspension.
The RPM arms are a good idea.
I recommend upgrading as you go, as you need to replace worn or broken parts.
The Granite223 has wider arms than the BLX version. Its a better handling truck. I recently upgraded my BLX to 223 and its WAY better.
I can't say for how long but right now, I like the Granite. I was NOT a fan of the BLX set up.
I upgraded the steering and suspension all at the same time with parts from Jennysrc.com. My stock parts were WELL worn out!
I am not a skatepark basher but this truck has seen a few abrupt stops on a tree root or a cartwheel tumble because I'm a PRO an I MEANT to do that!!!

Its a tough truck. Never broke an arm or tower.
If you buy one of these, I recommend you buy it to run it, not to bling it.
I have heard great things about the Rival MT10 and 8. Ppl love their Teknos too.
If you are thinking of putting $$$'s in upgrades into a Traxxas, I recommend looking at a nicer platform to start.
I am a huge Kyosho fan. I have a Mad Wagon or 2 in boxes waiting for parts to arrive. I am excited to deliver a full report!

The Mad Wagon is a 3s truck that uses parts from the Inferno Neo line (can change slipper to center diff).
I've seen vids of it on 4s too!!!

Buy the builders kit if you go this route! It comes with tons of upgrades right out of the box.
Lots of options out there!
