Well when I first heard the rumor of the Tamiya Sand Scorcher re release I know I had to get one for the collection. Well I placed my order for one today> Now the hard part is do I leave it NIB or do I build it and have fun with it. This is Old Skool Koolness RC, so it will not be built up with brushless motors, Lipo batteries, 300 oz servos, and a crazy parts list. I am going with the K.I.S.S approach on this build the only thing fancy I am going to use on the car is the 4PK other then that it is all Old Skool Doooood !!! It will be painted like the box art if I decide to build it. I think the box art paint job looks so sweet. This is the link to the car on Tamiya's web site and I will post some pictures once I get the car in hand. I can't wait !!! :D

That thing's bad ass. I dig the baja bug look, always have. I'm thinking serioulsy that when I build up my Slash, I want the Proline bug body on it. I wouldn't build it too crazy either, too much juice gets rough on cars. Even if you don't break things, they still get beat up, and look it. Plus, that's an older design, probably not what I'd call a basher. LOL

buy another one and keep one NIB and Build the other it solves all you problems

Build it.

Loose that front bumper though. That's how I am going to roll.

Sometimes a nice and simple build is more enjoyable than a gonzo over the top build. Enjoy the build.

try making a front bumper similar to the one in the drawing. it would look much better then the one that comes with the kit
