Sorry, I haven't finished the big rock grave robber, I thought since it was so much fun working on the hpi grave robber I would work on the hpi '71ss elcamino , if you remember about 6 months or so i did the hpi '68 ford bronco, guess I'm stuck on those hpi body kits, well here we go.....

I like hpi's decals because of their detail, it makes me look like a good painter. /
I didn't like that their rally stripes were black, limiting your color choice, for me it was nothing other than red with white stripes, just like my friends 71 ss chevelle.

sorry it's been awhile, but I stuck myself with the traxxas mini xrt, it wasn't a bad purchase except for the fisherprice tires and wheels it came with! not even 4"i ve seen 1/16 hosim trucks with bigger tires but I will fix that, and I'm changing body's, the new one is for the shelf and now we revisit the '71 SScamino ,yeah baby!!

here's a few pics traxxas apparently can't figure the scale of the minni , they say the xrt is 1/16 the tires are the only 1/16 scale on the truck, it is built well using 1/10 drive train and the length ot the truck is the only reason I'd buy a minni anything 14.72
there's quite a few rtr trucks that measure that in the 1/10class, oh well traxxas still thinks the 2.5 Revo is 1/10 scale

I'm sure you guessed those are the tires off my Stampede, looks better and rips wheelies not stop on 2s! I ran. my pinion down to a 20t. and the motor temp is only running 104 degrees
