git a wasp 28.......a pain to get tuned but once you get it......loads of power & speed.........most folks try to avoid the wasp cause of being hard to get tuned but to me was well worth the trouble......i replaced the stock 25 engine in my savage with the wasp.........my savy weights 14lbs & i run a 52t spur gear with a 18t cb.......& talk about wheelies !!!! the wasp 28 is about 180$ & uses a turbo plug that cost around 11$
For bumpstart, you can't go wrong with the OS TZ.12. It's got TONS of power, and is reliable. It will require a rear exhaust manifold, tho, but it's a direct drop-in.
If your looking to spend 200-250, then get the TZ 12. Its fast and its more legal than a WASP .28.
If you wanna save some money, get the CVR .12. Enough power to get around the track in a timely manner, and doesn't cost enough to break bank. Hell I still run a CV .12, and I love it.
