Losi:
It’s been a long time coming. The last TLR stadium truck dropped in 2017, and racers have been asking for a new one ever since. The all-new 22X-T Race Kit delivers. Built on the precision driven DNA of the 22X, it brings the speed, tuning, and durability today's tracks demand.🏁

WOW Horizon! 🤣😆
That's Horizon for us. 🤦
The link they posted (I copied it from FB to here) goes to a Fury SCT body. So I think they're saying a SCT body can fit on a stadium truck! 🤣🤣😂. Just wow. I ain't changing that link btw lol. Gonna keep it there so I can have a laugh at it when I view this years later lol.
Anyways here is the actual link to the appropriate body.: https://www.horizonhobby.com/product/1-10-sector-st-clear-body-tlr-22x-t-and-others/PRO366800.html

Any gear cover for us RC weirdos wanting to "bash" a race bred ride? If I were a Losi dude, I would be lettin' one of these 22X-T loose on some backdoor track fun for sure. I know, I know... it's 2025 Rusty! Nobody wants to get their indoor climate controlled race cars dirty 🤪

All this TLR talk about making a comeback, and the "TLR" dedicated website is still not up to par since the release of the 22X buggy. I demand answers!

man have stadium trucks have gotten ugly... thanks cut throat racers. we used to race trucks, now we race things that used to be trucks.
AE still has you covered with rc10 rere's 😉

Losi/TLR/Horizon can we PLEASE see some rereleases of XXT/XXXT's? 1/10 JRX buggy rere? Hello? We been wanting those for pretty long now. Also if they're up to the competition of keeping up with AE with rere's almost every week lol.

i have an original RC10T. and AE doesn't even fully support the rerelease. can't remember what it was, but there are parts that they don't seem to sell for them. can't find a part number.
and id like to have a new stadium truck. I'm just not really into melted mutant bodies, shorty packs (can these trucks still use saddle packs?), and based off that mid motor T5 i drove that one time lack of rear grip. i think if i had an indoor unsealed clay/dirt track close by id be a little more open to getting a new one if it at least looked cool.

I'll have to do more analysis, but my guess is the same "manufacturer" does AE and TLR. Sooooo many similarities.

In the mountain bike world you'd call this a "catalog frame". Meaning any brand (GT, Cannondale, Jamis, etc.) can buy a crate full of frames and brand them as their own. When really, it's the Tawain universal design made for all the brands. It's easier to farm out the R&D. Just click and choose! It's that easy.

I will say, I like it. Looks fast and fun. If I were in the market, sure. But okay.

I have to point out the ".5" in the rear suspension arms are not the same. In the second to last pic. They should be. Unless you're racing the Worlds and you know your right arm needs to be different than your left. A little help here.

In other news...What tires are those? I'm always looking at new ways to hook up some traction. Those look fun.

Pretty sure AE and Horizon are both separate right? Unless I missed something bc I think I saw one time Horizon stocked AE cars. Weird.
Edit: HH does not own AE but they sell AE on their site.

Not too familiar with stuff like that but I read a comment on the FB post saying it was in the correct orientation.

The tires in my OP I'm pretty sure are PL Bald Eagle T slicks, probably the 2.0 ones since I argued with Horizon about the huge air gap on the original bald eagle Ts lol. The tires on the truck featuring the PL Sector body not sure but it would be a tread by ProLine.

I'm wondering if I can fit a Jcon Silverado body meant for a rustler on a ST platform like this. Just wondering. Bc I'm pretty sure the rustler has longer wheel base than a normal ST? 🤔

Not sure on that saddle pack situation. I mean if the battery area on the chassis is long and wide enough to support it... 🤷

this pic just caught my eye. why in the absolute fornication is the steering knuckle/steering arm (wth we calling those these days?) 2 pieces? its added hardware, added weight, added carbon fiber, added complexity. added cost. in 25+ years iv never broken one or never needed to adjust one.
that pisses me off.

This?...

I have not looked at the manual. I assume they have optional plates that will allow fine tuning of the Ackermann.
From my Tekno's 410 manuals...

Yea I think my AE manual also states that.
Ideally it's for the pro racers who are looking to win and by the smallest few milliseconds of a lap faster.
Normal racing, club racing, fun racing, ect, imo all that you need to do is shock and diff tuning, keep a maintenance schedule, practice regularly and stay consistent and it will get you up there on the podium. Unless the pro racers who very very fine tune their cars like that get in the way. That's just how I see it. 🤷
Because stock kit setups from a manufacturer of any kind if you get the version of the surface you'll be running on are pretty dialed out of the box imho, for a driver like me (average joe fun club racer) my B74 is a dirt version but I just went up 5k in f/r diff oils and 1 color rate spring up in the front. Dialed for both clay and carpet besides different tire sets and ride height for me.

Agree, it looks like a weak point to me as well. PR Racing had the same set-up on a ST of theirs I built some time ago. After fiddling about getting it put together, my thought was to replace those CF pieces with aluminum. Ended up selling the PR without even running it. All the components were so crowded together that quick pit or bench maintenance and turn around between runs or bashes would be a hard-do.

Overall, this TLR release does nothing for me. Body looks and sits like a sectioned and widened buggy body. But, that said, this is where the hobby is going so it will probably have a fairly robust following. -AC
