I was doing some maintenence after running it around the track and realized the front was wobbly. It looked like the front bulkhead was cracked. I started disassembling and realized it was almost broke completely in half and hanging on by a thread.

My 410SL runs the same bulk heads as your mini truggy. I broke my front bulk head a couple months ago, luckily there not too expensive. Pro Star makes aluminium bulk heads but they're pricey.

Did yours break in the same spot?

I don't mind taking the time to replace them. I'm just surprised that it just about broke in half.... then again, I am a pretty bad driver! That clay makes for some pretty hard landings when you crash.

Yes it did. Pro Star needs to make there diff cases in black. The gold with the stock black diff cover doesn't work for me.

Yes, I agree on the gold not matching a lot of people's color schemes. Prostar RC does/did offer gunmetal gray option. (Sorry, blurry pic snip) Better? Yes. I'd be more persuaded if color was matching Tekno's gunmetal blue/gray pieces. It is what it is, I guess.

I was about ready to ask what surface you are running on. I've seen some gnarly carpet racing/flat landings with the mini truggies. No doubt the harder surfaces play a role in bulkhead survivability.

I broke mine racing on an outdoor eight scale track. I usually don’t run it on a track that big

Well, at least the revised front camber link plate did its job securing the top of the bulkhead. ;) 😁
