Both of these options are pretty spendy, but it's just what I want to do with this build. What are your thoughts on the two. I know they are both powerhouses. I love the removable leads on the ProTek.

If you’re gonna spend that kind of money on your servo, I’d highly recommend a superior one… This is what I’d grab IF restricted to Amain…

Both servo’s you listed’s numbers are grossly inflated, and this was proved again and again in independent testing. The J&T is not. It’s also a NitroPro, and carries a much better warranty. 1yr absolutely free replacement “no questions asked” no matter WHAT happens to it, and LIFETIME warranty on the gearset.

If you’re NOT limited to Amain-I’d recommend the NitroPro 700Pro2, and grab it from BeachRC. Sign up with a new email, and get an extra 10% off.

Amain will likely replace the Protek when it fails, but only within the 1st year (and they may not as well), and if the Savox fails-good F’n luck.. I used to run them. Never again. Just my .02..

The Protek servo’s also do not fit the Tekno servo mount without modification, so you’ll have to ditch the weatherproof boot at the servo side of your leaf, and then likely still dremel your mount legs regardless..

How dare you add more options to my indecisiveness! 🤣. I just took a look at the jt600 and that looks great! I didn't even see that on there as an option. Ill check out beachrc as well. Thanks for the heads up on the ProTek not fitting well.

Absolutely brother-no problem at all! 🤘🍻

That NitroPro 700Pro2 looks sick. They both look like power houses.

Obviously includes a CNC’d billet 7075 flippable, and adjustable horn, as well as super solid, machined, shouldered fasteners. THIS one has a LIFETIME “no questions asked” free replacement warranty. And again-if ya register a new email acct to BeachRC, you’ll get 10% off. That puts this one right on par with the NOtek 170TBL, and is a far superior servo, with the best warranty ever offered, as well as the billet horn, and CNC’d fasteners. 😜

Oh man! I didn't even know servos like this were a thing. I am definitely going to try a Nitro Pro... but which one... I'm leaning towards the 700pro, but might persuade myself to get the FKN-Epic just because it's awesome.

With the BeachRC discount, and the included stuff-it all comes out in the wash IMO.. The warranty was the kicker for me personally. If you go NitroPro-you’ll be happy with either bro. 🤘

I like that the 700pro has a bit slower speed. Is that something you can change with a programmer? I've never programmed a servo other than setting endpoints.

Yep. Or your radio if it’s a good one. Even if it’s not-almost all decent radio’s have dual rate.. You will never notice a single one hundredth of a second in a 60deg transit time though. So if you’re looking for strength, bells & whistles, and the warranty-the Epic One is your guy.

You did it?!? Oh man-I was just messin with ya! 😅😜
Full price out the door was $193, so it's not very far off from the price of either the Savvox or the ProTek. It does come with some awesome graphics and a sweet servo horn!

Oh-and some candy..
I had no idea what you were talking about🤣 Now I get it! I love sour patch kids.
