Didn't actually break the bellcrank. The screw for the center drag link just backed out and is probably still on / at the track somewhere.

Just used a brass bushing insert I had and a regular hex screw to fix that up. This is only a temporary fix though.

Also put a washer behind the screw for the servo horn for less steering slop. Needing a new servo for this aswell. Want a faster and less noisy servo.

Took the car out for a few minutes at the storage place tonight before the rain comes. Car drives better than ever before. Using my chrome set of anacondas which I rarely use so they have a bunch of tread left and still a harder compound. While the black anacondas are worn out, down to slicks, and its very soft. So with the chrome anacondas on the street, they have lots of traction. Car drives more straight with a little servo trim adjustment and with that washer behind the screw for less slop. Lot quieter with the new slipper, gears and everything set properly.

Took the car out for a quick bash. Everything is good.
Guess I landed too hard from a jump from the ramp. And the screw for the drag link that goes into the bellcrank popped out again :(
Found it on the sidewalk and I used some loctite. Ill test it out next weekend and see how it does. If it doesn't hold, ill be getting a new bellcrank.

Found a pic when it was fully stock. Minus the body.

Heres what I'm getting soon
- 10BL120 G2 ESC - so I can program the esc
- Hobbywing LED Card for new ESC
- DE Racing x4 Slash Front and x4 Slash rear offset wheels
- P/L Badland 2.2/3.0 SCT tires
- Hot racing alloy bellcranks
- Fast Eddy sealed bearing kit
- Hot Racing Sway bar kit
- Integy MSR9 Springs

Getting the car tuned and hopefully preform better on the track. Gonna not sauce the tires, as the tires are already grippy enough!

Yesterday had a day trip to the beach so I drove the car at the park and at G-mas house. The screw for the link for the bellcrank backed out AGAIN!. So I took a longer shoulder screw and put a bunch of loctite on that. Bashed it today with the ramp in the alley and did great. Was using the rc8x radio so I wasn't going far away as I don't wanna risk loosing my car.

Rebuilt the shocks today. 35wt rear and 30wt front. Should do way better at the track. Put the rustler truck tires on it and looks more better. Ill see how SCT size vs truck size tires work and how they are different while practice. Depending on how much SCTs we have, might race it. We will see. Trying to reduce the grip the tires have so I won't sauce the tires unless I really need to.

My only con right now is when i come off a jump, the shocks fully extend and because of that, sometimes makes me land wrong (or maybe its my driving) idk. Need to get some fuel tubing to limit the shock travel. I think that would be good.

Drove it on the track for like 5 minutes. It does preform a whole lot better with the oil change, gonna keep it like that for now on. With the truck tires, it stays planted well in the turns.

After I land from a jump my motor cuts out and cogs really bad. Probably my terrible solder job when extending the motor wires. Gonna take that to my buddy to check it out.

Just put the longer proline extended body mounts on. Trimmed around the wheel wells. Punch new holes for the posts. Wheel wells are a bit off but they don't rub so that is good. Actually fit good with the bumpers on, surprised.

Track today, didn't get video for yall cause I been phone-less because the screen broke. 😐

Car did well. No breakages (thats a first)

The only thing that constantly happens is the shoulder screws for the top of the shocks (F/R) always like to back out and I lose them on track. Needing to find a longer, triple longer shoulder screw for it to go through the other side of the shock tower and have a nut on the end. Like a shock standoff like the Mini B and B74 have.

Car drove well. Wanting to get the right offset wheels since i have 0 offset TLR wheels currently, the wheels are farther "in" into the body and I feel like it makes the car turn worse than it does when bashing.

If anyone has suggestions for those shock standoff type concept, or longer screws ill appreciate it.

Update. Got in a screw kit, used these shock cap inserts I had laying around since people said to use those, longer screw and nut on the rear shock tower. And front shock tower. Added Atomik RC aluminum rear hubs and new Winter Evening bearings. Hot racing bellcrank, 272R bumper mount, and new RPM rear bumper coming next week. Also waiting for my other flysky fr4gs V2 receiver to come in for the new NB4 radio.

Went out for a sunset bash tonight. SCTs are so fun to drive. Added the mudflaps back on and with locking nuts since I got a hardware kit. Installed those alloy rear hubs and got the car on my NB4 radio. Love that radio.

Might be needing some new axles soon. Or atleast get the expensive rebuild kit from MIP as one of the pins that connects to the stub axles, they slightly come lose and have some play in them on power. Even though I have that set screw loctite and fully screwed down. Looking into Traxxas EHD axles and getting another set of alloy wheel hexes from Amazon.

Body needs some TLC. Added duct tape near the rear vent cutout as it was starting to crack.

Also, took it to 997 a couple weeks ago. 2wd sct, rear motor, on carpet. Very very fun. Needing new carpet tires tho as these were my OG set and I had since 2016, lol. Gonna get new Mini Pin SC schumacher tires and DE racing wheels, unless I change my mind and get Traxxas wheels. 3/4 wheels on my current worn down carpet set have stripped hexes.
