Hi everyone, How's it going? If you've been following me for awhile now you'll know that i've had my eyes on the Spektrum iXSR for over a year now. Last month i was able to make the preorder for the newly released iXSR+ and it just came in the mail today after 3 days of shipping and a month of waiting for it to release. Now it's here and i'm impressed with it on my first day of using which mostly just getting it set up for my next running session i'll say man i'm blown away with how quick it bound up to my cars and the AVC ones didn't require any special calibration when binding. Also it feels way more responsive and accurate than my DX6C and my old Futaba 4PM I also updated the firmware in it which like everything else was super simple although i had to sign it in to my Gmail account. For $700 USD i can't find anything to complain about with it i'm more than happy with it so far i also like how it feels very expensive, good weight and solid.

Here's some pics of it.

All smiles from Me so far. I can't wait to see what this new radio will feel like to drive a car with and i hope this radio will serve Me moving forward.

I'm happy i'm finally in the iXSR\iXSR+ owners club now, I hope to get many years of good use out of it.

It was a longtime coming and many months saving up but i finally made it happen.
You did very well. You should be proud! 👍😁😎

Because you are a nut 🫠

Looking dialed @CJSRCLIFE 😉😁
Yeah, Most wouldn't be able to justify spending that much on a transmitter but i could and thanks to learning how to save up for months also selling lots of old things from my previous PS3 to a couple of my old rigs. I was able to come up with enough cash for it and there were times i considered a 10PX instead but after the almost 10% price increase and knowing the iXSR+ being what i really wanted deep down i made it happen.

Congrats! Hope its everything you dreamt it would be.
It has been so far, Hope to get out and give it it's first drive i ran out of time today and it might rain tomorrow so it might be a bit before i get out and run it for the first time. Also i have it charging in the garage right now.

Almost picked one up but decided to go with a Futaba 10PX and I’m not disappointed!
I looked at a 10PX as well but after the almost 10% increase in price plus the receivers i'd have to buy i just settled on Spektrum in the end. Also the iXSR+ i bought was $700 USD vs what the 10PX now is at $873 USD not including a battery and\or case and i already was doing good with Spektrum but that's just me. Congrats on your new 10PX.

One last thing i did was get my new Spektrum lanyard to fit onto my new iXSR+ but the original hook and clip wouldn't fit since it was too big. So i found out you can take the hook out of it and i took an old lanyard my Grandma gave me and cut the hook out of that one and put it in place of the original on the Spektrum one so thanks to this little bit of ingenuity from Me i was able to get my new lanyard to fit onto my new iXSR+.

Here's some pics of the operation.

You only live once, get the most out of life while you are here!

Finally gave my new Spektrum iXSR+ it's first run a few minutes ago and aside from having to reverse my steering and rebind the receiver in my XO-1 it was great. The radio performed as good as i thought it would and was super easy to use and figure out and i had no issues with the radio just had to retune my XO-1 some since binding it to the new radio.
