Got a lot of my uncle's old RC stuff since he isn't into rc anymore and had to move out of his old house quickly due to an unexpected foreclosure
Some chassis I got were
- Losi XXT (currently just in parts right now in the process of searching and getting parts and stuff)
- Duratrax Evader ST (in parts, with a spare chassis and new parts in factory sealed bags)
- HPI RS4 Pro1 awd belt drive TC (mostly together missing electronics shocks body tires/wheels and other pieces
- AE Nitro TC3 (no engine/electronics just roller chassis)
- Some kind of Bolink or RJSpeed frame oval chassis
- And lastly fully ready to race XB4 17 which I just did shock/diff rebuild and just raced it the other weekend (and his main pit bag tools and gear. besides charger/power supply/radio (this is a totally different story)
Electronics I got:
Orca VXX comp esc
Novak Pulse V2 with X drive and the prg crd for it
Basically like new Thunder power 540 6.5T motor and spare sensor board
x3 Novak ballistic 550 4.5t 2 pole motors (probably need bearings and new sensor boards. Gonna be hard to find replacements since Novak has been gone for what 10 years now?)
Some spare/RTR plastic geared servos
Futaba r304-e receiver
Some old school brushed motors, brushes, xtals, xtal rx/txs, tires wheels. Lots of spare buggy and sct inserts/foam and wheels etc.
x3 spare scte 1.0 chassis and some spare scte parts
The oval frame car and the nitro TC3 I put in a box and put it in my shed for later in the future as I just want to focus on the main 3 (XXT hpi and duratrax)
Here's my plans for each project
XXT: Full rebuild and some modern upgrades to race in truck vintage class. Electronics are going to be a HW V2.1 esc and V10 G4 13.5 motor (previous setup I had in my race rustler build late last year but took it out)
HPI RS4: Get it up and running and have it mainly as a fun smooth parking lot runner and/or if I decide to get a feel for on road (mostly indoor carpet during the winter at my local track 180 Raceway) electronics are going to be the Orca VXX. He probably had this esc in this car before as I can tell the wires are cut pretty short. Motor will be the thunder power 6.5. should be a rocket on the track.
Duratrax:
Get it out together and just have it as a mid school type backyard "lite" basher. Esc will be that Novak pulse v2 since it can handle more lower and has a higher amp bec. And I'll probably find a 10.5 or 8.5t motor. Originally he had this novak esc in one of his SCTEs paired up with the ballistic motor. It was a beast of a setup.
So yea that's basically what I have and some updates since I haven't been that active on here in a while
Also got a set of AKA sct bar tires he used once at the local clay track. Going to put those on my Pro4 for the local backyard 1/8 track.
And kit box for the XB4. Look at that price tag. Now a new XB4 26 is nearly 800 bucks. Inflation...
I forgot I saw a duratrax transmitter for that matching receiver but I forgot to grab it. Bank owns the old house now so no going back to grab it so it's what it is.
