Wow. That's just all kinds of messed up.

Don't get it
What's wrong with it?
Don't they teach you kids the metric system in school?

Idk
I was at a complete lost when I walked into algebra 2 today...
I had 3 years of Algebra. Worked in a woodshop for a number of years, then went to take some classes at Ivy Tech. I could not do Algebra for crap. That knowledge was gone.

Worked 25+ years in machining after that, and not one time did I ever need to use Algebra at work, or home, or anywhere. Trig, yes. But never Algebra. Useless math unless you're going to be a math teacher 🤪

Pffft... you use algebra all the time, you just don't recognize it.

3 for a dollar, how much for one?

3X=100
X=33.33

🤪
That's not even Algebra to me. That's just a decimal equivalent of 1 divided by 3. More than one way to skin a cat 😉

Oh, and you didn't do that right. It's 3x=1.00. Unless you're just looking for the percentage of the dollar, of 33.3333%

Made you use Algebra!!! Ha! :hehe:

I still remember how to solve the simple stuff. But anything beyond that I'm clueless. 3 years of class wasted. I could have been in shop class learning something cool that would actually benefit me later in life.

Tell the government that

You don't even have to know the meteric system for this one. @DavidB1126 just look at the mm values/numbers of the dimensions.

I was hinting for him to look at the metric numbers without telling him what was wrong 😉
Hopefully, he does understand that the larger the value, the larger/longer the physical size are 🤦‍♂️
