What would u guys recommend for an aftermarket a arm upgrade on kraton? Are rpm arms much better than stock?

Honestly the V5 arms are probably the strongest. I have a K6 with RPM arms throughout & they are fine. Really flexible. They can take a beating but are really flexible. Makes the handling a little slushy compared to my other 6s rigs with the V5 arms.

Thanks, I'll stick with stock kraton arms if I upgrade them. Used truck and arms pretty sloppy with lots of play in them

I've taken Teflon tape & wrapped the outer hinge pins in the rear outer hub to eliminate some of the play & the Teflon is slick & will rotate. Just enough to remove slop but not lock down the hub. Take the camber link loose & rotate the hub to check. It lasts a while & can be redone easily, & cheap!

On a V5-6 I like the front RPM a-arms, I consider them to be better than Arrma. The rear RPMs break on the back side 1" out from the inner hinge pin. I've broken a zillion of them all in the same place, I consider them to be a not recommended item. I've never really had any issues with stock Arrma arms.

I used to be OCD with fighting slop when I raced off-road RCs. Bought all kinds of metal/composite shims, and washers to combat slop making everything tight (within reason). It took me years to give up the chase. I've enjoyed off-road RCs to their fullest when I didn't constantly drive myself nuts with slop. Loose is great. Most(?) will say... loose is fast. Everyone has their own thoughts of how much is too much.

I'm not sure of how much slop you're working with, but composites and metal; mixed with dust & dirt... things wear out.
